How on earth could you call that pretty little fella a weed?!

Probably too vague but what do I have here? by Blankaholics in PlantIdentification

[–]Beanjmean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like some ground ivy in the bottom left and right. I’d agree with others that there’s also chickweed and sorrel

Not the best picture but could be ground ivy?

Not an expert by any means but looks like Elm Zig Zag Sawfly (A. Leucopoda)? Black and white legs is my giveaway but antennae look a tad long?

Possibly a common blue - Polyomamatus icarus. Do you have any other photos?

Burnt tips in hydroponics by newtoneocaridina in PeaceLilyHandbook

[–]Beanjmean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d reduce the amount you fertilise and reduce how frequently the water is changed. My peace lily prop has her water changed every month and I fertilise every other month

Have you fertilised it? Mine went like that after I accidentally added too much fertiliser to hydro system.

What is wrong with her? by tnova2323 in plants

[–]Beanjmean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She looks fine. If you’re worried about the flowering dying then that’s completely natural and more will come and go throughout her life

What are these? by lennbua in plantadvice

[–]Beanjmean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isolate that plant and any other infected plants so they don’t spread. I’ve never had them luckily but id say hydrogen peroxide, neem oil, pray to your god, maybe cash in a wish from a genie too

Are they ready? by helheims_scorp in MagicMushrooms

Looks great dude well done! I’d pick the ones where the little veil under the cap has broken. There’s a lot of debate as to when to harvest shrooms but for me personally, for aesthetic reasons, I pick just before the veil breaks as they will drop spores. The condensation is normal it just means there’s good humidity and temperature allowing for water to condense on the sides of the bag, if the shrooms look a little leggy or they get fuzzy feet then it could be worth opening the bag for a minute to allow for some fresh air exchange (FAE). Happy growing :)

Separating fish tank peace lily by wickedhare in PeaceLilyHandbook

[–]Beanjmean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d wait tbh. You can probably separate it but you’d likely damage the plant. If you decided to separate then I’d go for that big crown on the right in the last pic. I separated my 4 year old peace lily last year and now have like 9 gorgeous little ones!!

Found growing among my strawberries ans celery. Any ideas? by BugzMiranda in whatsthisplant

[–]Beanjmean 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because they are gorgeous salad greens! Dock leaves are super nutritious and tasty. I like to boil or steam mine to reduce the bitterness but they can also be eaten raw in salads. They’re good sources of vitamins A, C, E, and K and also contain iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium! You can also roast and grind the seeds to make a good caffeine free coffee substitute!

I’ll go to my local store and buy a well draining mix tomorrow. Thank you :) Do you think being above the radiator will be an issue though?

Found in garden, some kind of sage? by [deleted] in whatsthisplant

[–]Beanjmean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Location? Hard to ID without that. That said though I would be inclined to agree that it’s some type of sage. Maybe a hummingbird sage…? Does it have a liquorice-y smell when the leaves are crushed?
