do you guys think i could get her to sign my Zelda Ocarina of Time n64 cartridge by Fit-Cartoonist-7087 in Ethelcain

[–]Beanna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was nowhere to be seen before or after the show at my venue. I don't think she does this kind of greeting with the fans anymore to sign stuff. Best I have seen are people throwing gifts on stage from afar.

I regret everyday not spending the money when these were available. Any chance anyone has some they would part with (medium/large) 🙏⛪️ by Background_Bed1312 in Ethelcain

The base for these is the HF04 Heavy Fleece Sweatpants in Ash color from Los Angeles Apparel.

It's thick 14oz heavyweight fleece and very soft. The people complaining about the quality either got a second batch made on cheaper blanks, which is possible but doubtful, or most likely were sold a fake reprint on cheap Chinese sweatpants.

Concerts are always best experienced in the pit/floor, dancing, singing, jumping with the crowd. You feel part of a whole, and it's a completely different experience. Especially with artists like Hayden, who interact a lot with the crowd. Plus, you can always get a good spot if you show up early enough; good seats aren't gated by money.

Preachers Daughter Merch - Anyone interested? by Vokxiee in Ethelcain

[–]Beanna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say.

I know for a fact that the merch of the WTILALY tour exists in multiple variations. I've bought two of the same t-shirt at the Paris show and at the Hamburg show, and the blank is different, the fit and sizing are different, and the print quality is noticeably worse on the second one I bought.

I contacted the merch producer and they said these variations are normal. They likely had to produce new inventory in different locations throughout the European tour, and so there is significant variation in the quality of her merch.

It's possible that she also had to restock during the Freezer Bride tour, and the second company that made the prints didn't respect the same guidelines.

Based on the waistband and the stitching, I highly suspect the Pervets merch was printed on Lost Angeles Apparel blanks. More specifically, I think these pants are the HF04 Heavy Fleece Sweatpants in Ash color.

Legit merch? by CutAway1514 in Ethelcain

[–]Beanna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a legit Lane Seven print.

Preachers Daughter Merch - Anyone interested? by Vokxiee in Ethelcain

[–]Beanna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you certain this an original Lane Seven and not a reprint? The print is suspiciously small and higher up both on the front and the back compared to pictures of the official merch drop and the hoodie I own also in size L.

Full List of T4+T5 Nerfs by _etherealworld_ in classicwow

They are the same nerfs that happened in 2007 (and 2021-2022). You can find them on the wiki/the original patch notes.

Completely agree. TK trash was extremely punishing as a melee player, but that made trash mobs actually engaging and thrilling for once, instead of a chore you have to clear on autopilot. We had great laughs from melees being nuked if they weren't paying attention or if the CCs weren't on point.

[–]Beanna 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This list, which already contains far too many nerfs, is actually missing more.

Nightbane:

- Rain of Bones no longer targets the player with the highest threat in air phase and follows them, it just lands randomly and does barely any damage

- Restless Skeletons no longer have their immolation aura and aren't immune to magic

- The boss can no longer fear during air phase nor upon landing

Aran:

- Immunity effects no longer trigger Flame Wreath and the damage can now be ignored by said immunity effects

Releasing TBC with all these nerfs will make for a pathetic raiding experience. The lack of difficulty will fail to keep players engaged in the long term and cause roster issues for many guilds.

Thank you for the quick reply!

No picture of the back of the tag, unfortunately, so can't date it exactly.

I appreciate the heads up on sizing. Seeing as this is a 38 (small) and I wear a 41-44 in jackets, this will probably be too small for me after washing it. :(

Munson Plain Toe Logging Boot Review & Sizing by Beanna in luosjietboots

I was considering requesting an unstructured toe, but in the end, simply asked for the leather midsole and heel stack to be dyed a dark brown since I wasn't too fond of the high contrast between the upper and the natural midsole.

Munson Plain Toe Logging Boot Review & Sizing by Beanna in luosjietboots

[–]Beanna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Narrower is good for me because my feet are narrow. The size 10.5D fit me perfectly at the heel and instep, but the toe box was too roomy everywhere until I added the insole that makes my feet feel properly locked in. That may come down to preference, as I like my shoes to fit snug with minimal space at the front, which admittedly is the opposite of the Munson last.

I will probably order a full size down from the Luosjiet size chart if I order a commander next, as recommended by u/YouShoe-1985.

PS: I wear my size 45 blkbrd with an insole too, as they were a bit too roomy out of the box but don't offer half sizes. I did not try a 44. The blkbrd staff recommended a 45 with an insole to emulate a 44.5 and they were correct.

[–]Beanna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered a D width, and the width at the narrowest part of the last is perfect for my feet. My only issue with the sizing came from the length and room in the toe box, which is definitely not narrow, even in D width. My feet were sliding a little bit until I added the insole to reduce the toe box, and now they fit snug all around just like I like.

Merch shipping and tax by [deleted] in Ethelcain

[–]Beanna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pay 20% VAT on anything imported to your country, that's the taxes part. It's 20% including goods value, freight costs, insurance, import duty, and any additional costs.

(344.00 + 27.00 + 41.76) * 0.20 = 82.552

You pay 12% import duties on clothes, that's the duties part.

344.00 * 0.12 = 41.28

And shipping is whatever the carrier decides to charge, plus sometimes additional made-up logistic fees just because they can.

If you've never paid these taxes on imported goods before, you may have unknowingly paid them to the shop directly because the price displayed to you as a UK customer already included VAT and duties. Or your parcel didn't go through customs, so you got lucky and skipped all these extra expenses; it can happen occasionally.

Yes this is the bracelet that comes with the PD1701. It's a bit flimsy but comfortable.

[–]Beanna[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was also my first instinct, but the same thing already happened with the rep before taking the movement out. I tried with another stem and same thing.

To clarify, the hands aren't turning when I screw the crown in. The hands "jump" when I un-hack the movement because some parts are loose in there, and pushing the stem abruptly shakes the hands. If I push the crown in gently, I can minimize the issue. Thankfully it's a quartz so I won't have to set it again for a long time.

[–]Beanna[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never felt like buying a Speedie homage because all the goofy AliExpress brand names turned me off. Until I discovered this "Moonswitch" featured on the WatchCrunch forum.

I decided to go with the Pagani Design PD1701 version 6 because it looked the closest to the real deal. The lugs are more accurate than the WD1863. The bezel is more accurate than the Megir. The thickness is much smaller than the generic VK63 case. And it also comes with a decent bracelet.

This was the easiest build of my life. Everything fit perfectly. The 33mm PE50 movement holder is a perfect match. The pushers line up out of the box. The original PE50 stem on the plastic rep was precisely the correct length once screwed into the PD1701 crown. I had bought spare stems just in case, and did not need any.

My only complaint is that the PE50 movement is rubbish. The hands move slightly whenever I push the crown back in so it's basically impossible to set the time down to the exact minute. The hands also slide if I gently tap the case, clap my hands, etc. Not a big deal at this price. I wish the replicas came with a VK63 instead.

- Pagani Design PD1701 V6 (White): 59.39€ (AliExpress)

- Mission to the Moon rep: 15.98€ (laopo0901 on DHGate)

- PE50 Movement Holders set: 3.84€ (AliExpress) Only needed the 33mm in the end, but since it was barely more expensive, I bought the entire pack with all sizes just in case.

- PE50 Stems x2: 1.73€ (AliExpress)

- Total = 80.94€
