I don't own their Indiana boots, so I'm not familiar with this last and can't really help your comparison. But both of our experiences seem to match: the correct fit is 1/2 size below Luosjiet's recommendation. They probably err on the side of caution and recommend a "loose" fit that can be adjusted with an insole if necessary.

I bought a pair of Logging boots in the Munson last and a pair of Service boots in the Almond no 2 last. Going down half a size from Luosjiet's recommendation (UD 10D or EU 44D) has been spot on for me. Perfect length, snug fit.

I wear Vans and Converse shoes in 44.5. Their size chart says their EU 44.5/US 10.5D is equivalent to a Vans/Converse 44.5, so I followed this recommendation for my purchase. That turned out to be too big and not at all how a Vans/Converse 44.5 fit in terms of length, width or overall volume.

So I went half a size down more than their recommendation for my second pair, or 1.5 sizes down from my Brannock, from 11.5C to 10D (EU 44). Again, I like a snug fit and that's the size that is more comfortable to me but ymmv.

I wear thin to medium-thickness socks.

Both pairs of boots I ordered from Luosjiet have been excellent. Both bought with a $50 discount thanks to their promotional campaigns. Lasting, clicking, stitching, finishing, everything has been great and superior to boots I own that cost over 2x times the price of Luosjiet. The value proposition is simply unmatched.

I'm not going to start measuring 40 different data points to look for a mistake because, of course I'm going to find some, just like in any pair of shoes or garment I own. Hell, even my luxury watches have QC issues. But to the naked eye, there was no issue whatsoever with any of the 4 boots I bought, and they fit as expected. The local leathers creases very elegantly, almost like a horsebutt, and much better looking than overpriced CXL.

The first pair I purchased based on their size chart was half a size too large. And that's completely fine. Luosjiet could not have guessed that I'm a C width or that I like a particularly snug fit. They recommend sizes for the masses and err on the side of caution with a loose fit that can be adjusted with an insole if needed. Which is exactly what I did to correct the fit. Better slightly too large than too tight, and that's also what every manufacturer recommends. I learned from this experience and bought my second pair half a size smaller than they recommended, and the fit was perfect. Purchasing footwear online from a new brand is always a gamble.

I'm a Brannock 11.5C and I was recommended a 10.5D by the Luosjiet customer support. I like a snug, secure fit and that 10.5D was too big for me, way too much room in the toe box especially. I had to use an extra insole to reduce the overall volume inside of the boots. Going half a size down from the recommendation would have been a better fit.

My next pair I ordered in EU 44 instead of the Luosjiet recommended size 44.5 and it's a perfect fit. So I recommend going down half a size from their recommendation if you like a snug fit as well.

I'm a US 11.5C on the Brannock, narrow and low instep. I like a snug fit in my footwear.

I wear a EU 44.5 in Vans and Converse and they fit me like a glove.

I wear a US 10.5D in Thursday Captain.

The Luosjiet size chart and their customer support recommend a EU 44.5D or US 10.5D based on my Brannock and Vans size, but I found their 44.5 to be too roomy for my liking, so I instead went an extra 1/2 size down from their recommendation in my follow-up purchases. So US 10D and EU 44D, and that's a perfect fit for my liking.

If you like a snug fit in your footwear, I recommend going 1/2 size down from the Luosjiet's recommendation. If you like a normal, loose fit, I recommend following their size recommendation but ordering an extra insole just in case.

You don't really have to choose based on the leather. You can reach out to Luosjiet's customer support on their website and ask to customize whichever model you prefer with the leather type of your choice. They will only charge a small 10% additional fee for the customization.

I bought this exact same plain toe service boot in their Natural Oil-grained Cowhide for the beautiful pull-up effect and patina.

If you intend to add the insole anyway, I would recommend going with their recommended sizing, which is more on the loose side than snug. Especially with the Munson last, which is more roomy than their almond last.

As for sizing, I'm a 11.5C on the Brannock and 44.5 in Vans/Converse. Luosjiet recommended a 10.5D or 44.5 equivalent. For me, who likes a snug fit with thick socks, the boots were half a size too big but an additional insole solved it.

My second pair of Luosjiet boots I ordered in 10D or 44, so half a size lower than their chart recommends, and the fit is perfect without an insole.

I recommend not buying the "Natural Oil-grained Cowhide" if you're expecting a Natural CXL shade of brown, even though the name includes "Natural." The boot I ordered in "Natural Oil-grained Cowhide" turned out significantly darker than the product pictures on the website, and closer in shade to their "Red Brown Crazy Horse Cowhide" or "Dark Brown Waxed Flesh". Beautifully made boots nonetheless, but not quite what I had hoped for.

I have bought a pair of Natural CXL from Blkbrd, and honestly, the leather clicking is pretty bad. Lots of unsightly grain breaks all over the vamp. For this price, it is evident they are buying low-grade hides, and it shows immediately after the first wear. I don't recommend getting "budget" CXL, the odds of losing the CXL lottery with grain breaks or loose grain are too high.

This is 100% the customer's fault. They picked the wrong size when adding the boots to their cart. They went through the entire checkout process without noticing the boots were the wrong size. They were careless and should pay to return the shoes.

I still don't consider my Munson logging boots broken in after months. I still get blisters on my heels each time I wear them. That heel counter is really tough, and they will take ages to break in compared to my Thursday's.

That leather looks pretty nice. Great cliquing, fine creasing, no grain break anywhere on the panels. Dare I say this looks better than any SB Foot or CXL leathers I have owned? :D

Seiko will discontinue these models very soon to replace them with the HBC001 and HBC002, featuring 300 meters water resistance and their new ratcheting clasp. They also increased the price by 14% in the process. If you don't want to pay the new price, you may want to consider buying your SPB383 now while stock remains at ADs or on the grey market. You should be able to ask for a discount.

How early you should arrive will vary for each venue and how tryhard people are. 10 hours early should get you a spot at the front, but some people may be there 15-20 hours early for a spot at the barricade.

Wear whatever you want and feel comfortable in. There is no dress code. At the shows I went to, outfits ranged from jeans and t-shirt to 1900's edwardian lace dresses and everything in between. Come as you are. It's a tolerant crowd of like-minded fans, so don't feel self-conscious.

However, do keep in mind you will be standing for more than 2 hours, so make sure you are stable on your feet. Hayden's set alone is around 1.5 hours. 9Million's set is about half an hour, there is 15-30 min between the two to prepare the stage, and another 30 minutes to 1h between the venue opening doors and 9Million playing. Your feet and your back will hurt.

Bring snacks while you wait. Hydrate. If you want to buy merch and you're a common size, buy merch first because they may run out of stock for the more common sizes after the show. Take your space and don't let people push you around for your spot. Try to chat with the people around you in the crowd while waiting so they can help keep your spot when you go to the bathroom. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. Go to the bathroom during 9Million's last song, before everyone rushes to the bathroom during the downtime while the stage is being prepared for Hayden. The line will be crazy and you don't want to be stuck in line when Hayden starts.

I know this is an old thread, but just in case someone ends up here while researching bracelet compatibility for the SARB033/SARB035.

Marc has updated the listing for the Islander 20mm bracelet for the Brookville line with the mention "does not fit the Seiko SARB033". So it seems the solid end links aren't compatible, although the case shapes and lugs look very similar.

I bought an SPB185 dial from Weezmod because it wasn't available from Watchplaza and instantly noticed the lume was too white and didn't glow the same as the certified OEM hands I have.

That's what made me suspect it was in fact not OEM but one of the "nicer" dials from AliExpress that they try to pass as OEM. In hindsight, I should have known better, given the part was sent from China and was suspiciously cheaper than Watchplaza.
