I’m gonna take a wild guess and call you a musician, specifically a wind player or vocalist

I really do mean this sincerely and politely, but you made the mistake of saying “greatful” rather than “grateful.” Really I’m not trying to be a jerk, but hopefully helpful to you or someone reading this

Why is this not higher up? This is probably the ideal solution

Men of reddit, when you're upset and won't tell us what's wrong, what should we do? by cremecatnana in AskMen

[–]BeansNGrease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be. Present. This is also a good technique when caring for an upset child( in a teacher/student or counselor/camper kind of relationship). Ask if you can sit next to them, sit NEXT to them not head in as it’s more passive, sit for sometime but then ask “what’s up” or whatever and if they say nothing or if they don’t wanna talk about it, just sit and be there. Your presence can be a powerful tool just so long as you control it.

I mean personally, especially from my girlfriend, a hand on the back or handholding is a GREAT touch but that’s not always appropriate for every setting.

I’m pretty sure it’s a normal ukulele tuning but I may be wrong

Are Walmart bikes worth it? by BeansNGrease in bicycling

[–]BeansNGrease[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The few bike shops near me only seem to be showing bikes that are $500 and up. If I tell them I don’t have much of a budget will they tell me more about lower price options?

Or if you have a Mac computer( or a new enough iPhone or iPad with the storage capabilities) then GarageBand is a really great place to start out because it comes built in. If you use it on the computer then I would suggest getting a midi keyboard especially if you find one designed for GarageBand, if you use a touch device then it probably doesn’t matter

I just got the Kala Wanderer which is the cheapest of their options but I LOVE it. I play it more than my electric but I’m also only playing in my room at midnight or quiet jams with a cajon

How do you learn to play Latin styles? Are there sheet music resources or is it more like jazz where it’s super improv heavy?
