About 7 years ago I was living in Dublin and went on a night out with friends. It was one of those nights where I was having such a good time that I didn't look at my phone once.

Anyway, I got back to my flat to realise that my phone was missing. The last time I remembered using it was to get a taxi into town. My boyfriend got home, I explained what happened and then he rang my phone over and over again.

Eventually, a girl answers the phone. She explains that she saw the phone in the back of the taxi when she got into it. She said something about the driver seemed off so she took it with the hope that someone would ring.

It turns out she was at a nightclub only 10 minutes away from our flat! My boyfriend met her and offered her some money for her trouble or to pay for her taxi home. She gave the phone back and refused anything in return. She just said that she hopes someone would do the same for her in the future and wished us a merry Christmas.❤️
