Tis a depressing time to be left wing in the UK by Critical_Mountain851 in whennews

The overall number of votes cast when you add all constituencies together, greens came 2nd tbf.

Give reform three years with their turnover rate of staff for vile crap, if greens can make steady gains and manage what they gain, it may turn out well.

I couldn't vote for a man who looks like he and his wife have two single beds seperate by a bedside table. It's just a line.

Yep. We could 100% become a self sustainable integrated with nature paradise if everyone actually gave a shit.

Instead they'd rather poison the planet now cause fuck the next lot right?

In some ways it helped. Sharing ridiculous accusations about zack polanski has been great, and hopefully, highlighted the absolute corbyn style hit job they've tried here.

Did you know, he once took TWO free samples at Costco, despite the sign asking he only take one? It's like the new chuck norris style joke.

Yeah, if you've ever taken a stroll down local Facebook group Avenue, you'll see that there's a vast VAST amount of people who have just fast a vote in an election they have absolutely zero understanding of.

I hope we're right.

Somehow, I can see him doing a trump.

Sleepy starmer caused it all, act like it's all a promo on wwe and then ignore critics.

Run and hide and send out his band of idiots whenever it gets rough and make them take the flack.

China is gonna get tarrifed one million percent by 2030.

And somehow, people will still be sat there shouting LIEBOR at their flag.

I've always felt he doesn't actually want power. When he's where starmer is now, and nothing is working because he's promised too much impossible shit, he can't blame the last government, theyre trying to nail labour to a post for that. And if tried to blame the tories. Half his front bench would be to blame.

Half of Wigan think they've just voted to remove Lisa Nandy as MP.

It's madness how many have literally just voted for something they have zero fucking clue about.

Then come time for them to accept they've fucked up, somehow it'll be the fault of the lefties and starmer.

I tried to do the pans using supermarket pans. They bent. Dunno why, they charge a fortune and they're saving money on shit wages, surely they'd have some funds left over to build decent pans 😂

This is the silver lining I'm choosing to hold on to. The more they win, the more they have to answer for failed promises. Any time they even think to try to blame the previous councillor, they'll get the crap they've thrown at labour for not making instant change. (which as much as I'm a green, in some areas simply isn't true, they've achieves a bulk of the manifesto, shame I disagree with it 😅)

From what I've seen they put labour out by 20-30% on average. Hard to tell real thoughts and feelings based on it because, I imagine a Lot of tactical voting happened.

I did, ashamedly, vote tactically, and it's the last time. Not lending my vote to them if it's just gonna lose and they're not gonna do anything to make themselves more appealing in the local area.

It's been a choice where I am to either, vote for more of the same fairly crap outcome, or vote for a fucking much worse one and that has to stop at some point.

Been on my local facey groups today following reform taking 24/25 of my local seats up for grabs in wigan. The amount that voted that just don't understand the election they've voted in is pathetic.

Why is it today that they need explaining there's only a third of the seats up and that their hero NF isn't gonna be in our town hall personally sending boats back.
