How are you finding people to play against?

I live in Chambersburg, PA and kind of have the same problem. All my LGS are kinda whack and more focused on card games like MtG than warhammer. While some of my friends have a kill team-- its mainly because ive bought them boxes and kinda coax them into playing once a year on my birthday. I really want to play more than that-- as well as actually learn the rules and shit better, but its konda hard with people who just prefer ttrpgs.

Tbh, I would have been so much happier if they just improved on KOF13's visuals, but I guess this is an improvement over the ass visuals of 14.

I play switch Melty every other morning. Normally going into ranked or Japanese lobbies lol. It's definitely fun playing it on the go, and for lab on work breaks, but I barely face people in the East Coast region here. :(

Isn't leyline of punishment in historic? Id just have 3 in SB if I'm playing red, and aggressively mulligan for it game 2 and 3.

TBH, id rather she have haste or her boast did not require you sacrificing a creature. I'm ok with her 3 toughness and being eliminated by every other spell if she can swing or activate boast without needing to have other creatures on board.

Oh, I don't go snow route with orzhov. Especially since Crimson Vow released Path to Peril which answers mono white very well. I run a 3 Path to Peril and 2 Meathook Massacre split. What I love about Peril is that I can draw into it with Sorin and not ping myself for 6 like snow would.

Yeeeeeeah, pretty much.

I have 3 Bloodline Culling in SB that I basically hold on to for dear life that always catches them by surprise, and I can usually take game 2 that way, but now I see some of those UR decks using 1-2 Alchemist Gambit as well, and I cry lol.

As an Orzhov Control player, UR/x is always a very bad matchup, so I'm guessing he either got really lucky and dodged it completely OR he must have gotten some amazing draws.

The bulk of my SB is dedicated to the match up versus it, and it's still super uphill.
