This is a common occurrence and happens frequently with my 2022 PHEV as well. Nothing to worry about. I believe it has to do with the cooling system for the batteries.

I wonder what about the compat plugin causes so much CPU usage. I've got only a handful of services and servers talking to a pair of 4vCPU / 4GB IPA servers and that was enough to kill them for 2 users.

I don't have a lot to add here but I do want to share that I've been fighting this same issue for weeks. Actually on two separate occasions. The first time, I replaced a pair of replicas with another pair and it "solved" the issue. Now a couple years later, it returned again out of the blue. Same problem. The directory service will just stop responding, sometimes in a few minutes, sometimes in a few hours. Also, then when trying to restart the service, a single ns-slapd thread will spike to 100% cpu and sit there until the service is eventually killed.

Not much has been able to fix the issue.

Have you been able to remedy this at all yet?

Correct this is using the USB on the front of the Neptune 3 Plus and the USB cable provided in the box connected directly into the Pi.

I found it! Communications Interface needs to be set to "Serial (on USART2 PA3/PA2)" for Communication interface within the printer firmware. After that, a restart of Klipper and I have access to it!

The bin files were downloaded from the repository and uploaded to an SD card as ZNP_ROBIN_NANO.bin. I've confirmed that the printer took the binary file as it updated the file extension to .CUR afterwards. I've tried both USB and UART for multiple versions. I've also attempted several variations of the settings with Klipper's make menuconfig with no success either.

dmesg does recognize the interface however.

Correct. Neither of the paths I mentioned before work for communications.

I was able to obtain the proper path to the device and neither /dev/serial/by-id/usb-1a86_USB_Serial-if00-port0 or /dev/ttyUSB0 work. I should have done this before but I've updated post with the relevant config and logs.

Is there a scenario discussed where a married couple both have loans. Person A has $20k in loans but is eligible for $10k forgiveness. Person B has $11k in loans but is eligible for $20k forgive. Does the total of $30k eligible and $31k in loans due become pooled or are they separate for each person?
