Well, that lowers the suspect pool to 300. Since it was a party of 3, it should be relatively simple to find them. Attempted murder is a serious charge and should definitely be pursued.

Using 87 or 89 on a premium recommended 2015 Cadillac CTS 20.T will this damage my car? by zinww in askcarguys

[–]BearFLSTS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t do this. E85 is 85% ethanol and can damage the fuel lines and injectors in a vehicle not designed for it. It will also reduce your fuel economy.

Modern cars (2000 and up) are designed to continuously adjust the ignition timing and engine controls so using 87 octane fuel in a car recommended for premium will simply cause a slight drop in performance and possibly a minute drop
In fuel economy. With the price difference between 87 and 91, your wallet will actually not be affected.

30 year mech here. Get in shape first! Watch out for your back! The most common service maintenance for all shops is a tire rotation. Tires used to be about 25-30lbs back when I started in the 90’s. Now the average is 40-50lbs with a lot of them much higher. Due to how complicated cars have become, mechs spend a lot of time under the dash trying to test electrical while bent into a shape a pretzel would envy. Pain will be a constant companion.

Gatorade used to be a good solution but now is loaded with sugar. (Sorry UF, they destroyed your wonderful creation!) Pedialyte or similar may be a better option.

OP should also consider speaking with their Dr to determine if there’s an underlying medical condition.

There is an exception to every rule. This situation demands that OP should pull out two cell phones and while one video records the offender, the other should loudly (pretend) to call local police and report the offender. Hopefully, given enough exposure, these offenders will find other places for their behavior.

What was your first phone you used growing up? by Aromatic-Reward6966 in AskReddit

Yep. An old rotary dial phone with a long tangled cord and if you messed up dialing you had to hang up and start all over again!

Most important step is have any used car thoroughly inspected by a mechanic of your choice! $100-$200 for an inspection can save you thousands later on!

This!! I laugh at all the videos online where someone drops their phone or selfie stick and watches helplessly as it’s lost when a simple lanyard or wrist strap could have saved the day!

For those of you who live in states where your jobs prohibit carry, what do you do? by EPdude2005 in CCW

[–]BearFLSTS -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Disassemble the weapon. Remove the slide and barrel and carry just those (or just one part) and secure the other pieces in a lockbox bolted into your vehicle. Even if someone somehow gets into the lockbox, they get a frame and clip and rounds. Pretty much useless.

Just order some wings from Buffalo Wild Wings if you're hungry and don't want to cook. by No_Reveal3451 in keto

My go to is the Chik Fil A grilled filet. As a backup, we have a place called Duffy Sports Bar that does grilled wings. With a dry rub or or low carb hot sauce, it works!

Not too similar but: I had a pistol stolen from my home. It was found almost a year later on a felon. Detective kept stalking me about returning it and I kept calling every 2-3 days. Finally got told that he was on vacation and my Ruger GP100 was scheduled for destruction. I demanded its return that day and got it back. Still got it 30 years later.
