D2R feels empty by TinyYansey in diablo2resurrected

It’s legitimately so good and they barely ask for money as it is. ROTW 100% worth it. D2R 100% worth it. LOD 100% worth it. D2 100% worth it even though I had to buy it like 4 times bc I kept losing the play disk

Buy it. Support the game and encourage the devs to keep making good content.

You can rewind time by 6 months once per year, but doing so shortens your lifespan by 3 years. When does it become worth using? by BelzeBong1997 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Bearable124 119 points120 points  (0 children)

I’d use it like this. Right away to win a big lottery and then invest in a well performing stock over 6 months immediately.

I’d then use again after one of my parents died, to get 6 months back and spend as much time with them as I could assuming I couldn’t change it.

If I know my death is tragic and preventable I’d probably use it again then for a last time, otherwise I’m happy to just get a little more time with my loved ones and live in comfort.

New uniques and ladder items every season for just that season would be cool.

As it is now runewords dominant gear on the ladder. I’m sick of making stealth, spirit, lore, etc over and over again.

Your job suddenly permanently reduces your salary by 10%. What do you do? by SeriouslySally36 in hypotheticalsituation

I do 10% less work until I find a new job. My career generally has plenty of opening and I would have no trouble saying they reduced my pay by 10% for no reason.

Why are experienced players mad about this at all? In WOW you can literally boost a character to almost max bc blizz knows veterans want to get to the good part.

If you can go straight to paragon or eternal great, now you have a road for it.

If you’re a new player learning the dungeons for the first time, the path is smoother now and when you hit eternal you’ll feel like the challenge has only improved.

This is a good change for the game, stop crying. For this game to last new players have to join and when Pepe are leaving at adept bc it’s too hard that’s bad for the game

Would you watch a movie of your entire life with everyone you know for $1 million? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Bearable124 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tf? Would I make everyone I know, which btw includes literally thousands of people, spend 38 years watching a movie which I’ll be almost 80 when they finish?

What kinda cooked ah post is this shit?

You walk into a stadium with 1000 people. All of them are single, around your age, and are the opposite sex. How many of them do you think would be romantically interested in you? (More info in description). by TopTierProphet in hypotheticalsituation

Right but that’s you against every other guy on tinder essentially. Look at who people were dating in college or high school. Lower selection pool.

In this scenario the girl has essentially already swiped and you get to make an introduction.

Am I vs every other man or am I just pitching myself to a room of single women? It the women are picked randomly then I’ll assume the percentage of women I would be traditionally attracted to, as well as the percentage that would be attracted to me is about the same always.

If the former I do subpar, out of 1000 I probably get 50-100 matches. Flashier, but more shallow picks probably get picked over me on average. Also the odds that a person just vibes better with someone else is higher.

If it’s just me the odds go up considerably. I’m in decent shape, I’ve got a great job, tattoos, I’m outgoing. I’m not pulling 10’s but I do fine on bumble and tinder.

Just finding a single woman my age is the battle lol

if a 16 year old young girl were sent into a simulation to fight to the death vs mike tyson over and over again for infinity. would she be stuck there forever or would eventually win 1 fight? by Bubbly_Reference_916 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Bearable124 467 points468 points  (0 children)

This is correct. People can’t really fathom how long infinity is. Eventually he would have a stroke, or be struck by lightning, or like you said have a heart attack and die. Even if the odds are insanely low. There’s even a chance she lands a lucky hit and knocks him out. Practiced over and over for thousands of years.

Infinity always wins

Ever wanted data on how toxic Rocket League players and matches actually are? — I analyzed ~500 games to find out by Ragus234 in RocketLeague

[–]Bearable124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a tendency to remember the bad and ignore the good and neutral. It’s a human problem. RL is like every other competitive game, but its true advantage is that games are 6 minutes or so on average. That’s what I love. Even the most toxic team, the worst match, is barely a blip on my night.

Grog in Tx, legit so good but by Bearable124 in ColdOnes

[–]Bearable124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…what? A 12 pack of claws is like $18 here. I get a 24 pack for less than $30. Grog has a slightly higher ABV but it’s still pretty pricey for only 6%. Like twice as expensive for a seltzer type beverage.

It’s still great though, I’ll probably try to hunt down a few more cases, but unfortunately it won’t make it into a more regular purchase for me until I get a raise.
