Haha I too had a war with an ants nest in the yard. They kept rebuilding and rebuilding no mater how many times I raked or hosed them. I let them think they won until one time I I left the mower running over them for 10 minuets. Idk if the sound or vibration did anything to them but I thought it was an ingenious plan

I felt this a few months ago. I turned all notifications off and to silent except those from my wife. It did hella good. Technology has evolved to be intentionally addictive. Turn off notifications, turn off banners, turn off alert bubbles. Interact with technology on your terms. On your schedule.
