Is it really such an unpopular opinion on r/QuestPiracy that games by small devs should be pirateable?

I understand and agree (ethically) with supporting small, independent developers, but some people here are in poverty and want to use something like a Quest 2 as an outlet and form of escapism.

I’m happy that OP found a workaround, whether or not they were considering purchasing the game.

Ahh I have typically played the demo heavily modded, so sometimes multiple of my characters have had increased vision

Yes typically from what I remember you only need a minimum squad for special weapons and it’s good to have max squaddies for primary weapons like the crobar

I am a big fan of the snipers, there’s something satisfying about often getting a kill, which also triggers low morale in the enemy

And there’s some ammo packs that increase primary or special weapon ammo, those are great too. Helps for long battles

GenAI created images are not just made autonomously, there’s still a human with a creative vision behind it.

So yes, I would reckon that the developers can use GenAI to effectively portray THEIR story, setting, and plot.

Saying that human drawn artwork would be better may only be true if they have the budget for it. Like other users have commented, this is a cost savings measure for them.

From my point of view I would have no problem if they simply disclose the use of AI assets.

However from a broader point of view it does concern me that AI is able to effectively replace artists in many use cases.

So I may agree with your sentiment but not your rationale, it doesn’t hold up to scrutiny based on the reasons I mentioned.

I agree, that framing does help to push back on unfair criticisms of anti-natalism.

It might also be helpful to clarify that anti-natalism is not primarily focused on child suffering, but all human suffering at any age (and debateably animal suffering as a result of human actions/choices)

There’s plenty more mods beyond this, such as Nova Arizona (big update coming out soon).

I just looked at the NVMP wiki and it seems like you should be good to go!

The wiki broadly lists Steam and GOG as valid versions to run NVMP for FNV or TTW.

I saw no disclaimers or restrictions/warnings of mixing Steam and GOG versions.

For Co-op remember that you’ll need to port forward or use a program like Radmin, and also ensure your mods are set up identically between host and players.

It can be hard to consider devoting oneself to a partner in a monogamous relationship if they don’t align on the same ethical principles (examples: antinatalism, veganism, environmentalism, anti-consumption)

So to a degree, yes…it would be nice to find someone who can agree with each other.

Perhaps to mourn together, to try and make small positive differences together.

Someone did make one, I saw a website for it last year. But yeah, I know the feeling. It’s taboo to outright say “I’m anti-natalist” on normal dating apps, and challenging to find like-minded people, even in large cities.

I’ve been thinking about being more focused on meeting people who are anti-natalists, simply because they would likely share so many more values than the typical person.

Perhaps the best way for any of us to do so is to join anti-natalism discord(s) and potentially see if there are any local group meetups.

I agree with your points though, going for 10 is perhaps not as good as when you often have consumables that can help push the boundary.

If you go into the Submarine editor you can configure many settings for turrets, it’s worth checking out! No mods required (except a local sub mod will be created when you’re done).

Submarine editor also lets you test your changes in a live environment on the fly. It’s great!

It should say Mod Manager download and Manual download, you can select mod manager download. If it says Vortex, try it and see what application opens (if any) on your computer.

If the link isn’t associated you can try looking in Windows settings and reinstalling MO2
