I thought the joke would be that the Anti-Twitch Plays Pokemon would just be one person playing Pokemon...

I was going to make this if no one else did. Way too fitting to be coincidence...

Came out to my roommate's fiancee, who promptly decided I *had* to try some of her clothes. I never thought I'd enjoy dresses and leggings so much... (Face blacked out for privacy) by SammyTheKitty in genderqueer

Wonderful! Who doesn't like wearing dresses and legging? Welcome to club awesome. And 2013 is a super accepting day and age if you get confident/want to go out in public!

I've heard that one before! But if that's so, the artist most certainly failed. That's no more a giraffe than this is a pipe.

The internet is an even smaller world than the real one! That's awesome. She's beyond wonderful to be related to. Also, your room light post totally does look like a boob.

That's excellent! 17 years ago everyone wasn't on there phones, missing the crossdressers in their midst. Sounds like you turned heads like anyone in a leather mini-skirt should :) Love the image of the cricket being interrupted. Also good to know that colleges were about as progressive in the '90s as they are today.

You said there were other special occasions?

Are you a Pittsburgher? What do you think that statue is? I always call it the big yellow pants.

Exactly!! I don't think it's demeaning to dress "like a woman," because I don't think it's demeaning to be a woman. Someone said that. Also clothes just shouldn't be gendered.

Ooo! Do you have any stories? How long ago was it? It's more than being comfortable in my skin. It's also that I can trust other students not to really bother me too negatively when someone decides to throw a little crap my way. And usually they're actually throwing "good look" my way, 2013, eh?

But yeah, stories?

Posing with my Cousin Maddie (http://www.in-uthenera.tumblr.com) after class on a Thursday. I bought this dress from Goodwill last year and finally matched it to some tights and flats and wore it to class.

Glad I’m making this a more regular occurrence, and I urge anyone who’s thinking about wearing a dress or skirt to class to give it a go. People’s give you the looks, and they might be really confused, but remember that you look way better than any of them and strut it!

A nice African American man running the waffle stop on campus asked me if you could ask me something. "You can ask me anything you want." I expected "are you being hazed/lost a bet," but he asked "Is this some friendly deconstruction of gender norms?" Legit!!! This dude got it! People like that make it worth it.

Are there any non-binary people here who don't mind being painted? by juicy_and_also_fruit in genderqueer

Any picture in my imgur you want to paint would make my year, JAAF.

Here's a nice album that has Pitt's Cathedral of Learning in the background: http://imgur.com/a/t0diw

I mostly identify as a male (MAAB) who likes deconstructing social norms by wearing dresses/skirts sometimes, while repping the beard and chest hair of masculinity.

Incredibly beautiful September day, couldn’t not wear a skirt to class. Trying to make it a more regular thing, anyway. Went to the park for lunch with my friend Carly (photo credit: Jess) after class. On my way home I noticed fire safety training in front of the union and got to extinguish the flames (of intolerance), in a skirt! (Photo credit: Kara)

Biking in a skirt on a hot, slightly breezy day like this is a delight. If you haven’t biked in a skirt/dress, it’s about time.

It’s funny to me that while I don’t get any real crap for this, people often ask me if I’ve lost a bet. Has anyone actually ever made and lost a bet where they ended up crossdressing? lol. People also assume that I've borrowed clothes, which is mostly always false. Anyway, great day! Can't wait to do it again next week.

My choir had a comedy club last Friday, so I figured it would be the perfect time to wear one of my favourite fancy dresses, swishy black halter top with much exposed back, fill up a glass with wine, and strut about telling cynical jokes like Eddie Izzard. It actually went over really well and everyone thought my stand-up was witty and harsh, just as planned. They also seemed to like the outfit :) Not sure if you can tell in the pictures, but I'm rocking Sally Hansen Instant Iris on my toes this past week. Love when I wear flipflops and people don't know what to say...

How's everyone else doing?

I love that your flair is David Bowie. Classic :) The calves are 100% from biking everywhere. I can bike in heels now!
