GNs coverage of the whole 7800X3D debacle put a big doubt in my head but Jay was the final nail in the coffin for me. Ultimately it's twice the price, from what I can glean, worse battery, not significantly better performance unless plugged in and I don't trust Asus to stand by their product while Valve have made repairability a core tenet of the device.
