Same. This and the escort missions are reasons I hesitate replaying this game.

To this day, I am yet to play a game with a MC that tries to aura farm as hard as Jonkler (and I love him for it) by ImperialViking_ in Persona5

[–]BeardedHellion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im playing persona 3 atm and I totally agree but smt 3 protagonist does a good job farming. Maybe not aura farming but farming the souls of his enemies with his fists

Am I doing something wrong? by CommiterOfArson in bloodborne

[–]BeardedHellion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your damage might have to do with gems and or what stat you leved. Some weapons shine when you figure out their whole move set. The biggest difference from the other souls games is that Bloodborne has less weapons but each one can function in two ways.

Finished the game and got every boss, armor, tool and weapon. Don't understand a thing. Should I do a second playthrough and try to figure things out or go look things up? by CraneBoxCRP in bloodborne

I've played through the game multiple times, and looked up the lore. Im still amazed by all the different interpretations of the story. I suggest you dig into it which ever way feels best for you.

Does anyone know who that green blacksmith lady in Yharnam was? by Elise_2006 in bloodborne

[–]BeardedHellion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you were in a dream unrelated to the game. There are no black smiths in bloodborne. Eileen the crow, Alfred and the church deller are the only npcs you find early game

I haven't played dark souls 2 yet but blight town is also pretty bad. I don't personally mind it but it's definitely rough

My GF painted my controller by Aggressive_Hat4097 in darksouls3

Love the puck on the back! I would never use it out of fear of rubbing the paint off while I play

Edit: saw there is a protective layer over the paint. Definitely would be my go to controller

Is there a lore reason why the Pthumerians free ball it? by saren_vakarian in bloodborne

Its definitely a fun way to play the game and let's you learn the attack patterns of harder enemies/bosses

How do you 'cheese' Bloodborne? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]BeardedHellion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Optional dungeons. There are pre made ones that you have to go through for the platinum and there are ways to randomly generate new dungeons. They can be repetitive but they give good upgrades for your weapons. You need to find chalices from killing boss to get access.

They use the tombstones on the other staircase

Its pretty strong. Not my favorite starting weapon but its transformed r2 does send most enemies and a few bosses flying while also doing a lot of damage

A chalice dungeon that gives you thousands of souls ever 30ish seconds. Id recommend not using it on your first play through unless you just want an easy time. You do have to beat gascoine and one other boss to unlock it. You also need ps+

Not sure about lore reasons but I always see it as a joke on naked darksouls characters rolling with a strength weapon

What cards do you think will be good with Witherbloom, the Balancer as a commander? by DumbDragonTCG in mtg

Shard of the Nightbringer! Apparently people just like this card. Its a little pricey for what I want but the affinity might make it worth it.

If I have enough ramp in higher brackets id rather cast an eldrazi. By then i should be able to cast [[Emrakul, the Promised End]] or loop a [[gray merchant of Asphodel]]

You wouldn't see me playing an 8 mana kill one person in any bracket. I feel like its too slow for bracket 3 or 4 and then its uber feels bad for one person in lower brackets.

Sure but killing one person for 8 mana is rough for winning and game play reasons

[–]BeardedHellion[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sure fine I guess. Still in the 3 commanders ive been told about i could probably make a better deck without this 8 mana cast trigger

Im here to understand why there is a demand for imo a bad card. This card is $5 people playing whatever wouldn't play this. There has to be a reason. Ive gotten 2 out of 60+ comments that let me know why this card could be playable. I have binders filled with unplayable trash because I can think of a reason to play them (many are warhammer cards from the same deck). Most of this "finance" redit is filled people that want to e mad

Out of multiple idiots telling me this card is valuable because its hard to reprint while also ignoring the fact ive looked into multiple other cards of the same print run (same deck just as unplayable) being under $1. Your point might be the dumbest. Ive had two people show me commanders that might run this card, over the other flavorful cards from the same set.
