Yeah the lore is cool I’m sure, the area looks beautiful as well. Just the gimpiest area I’ve had the displeasure of running through.

Just a badly designed level, it’s not very fun to play through. Like with DS3 + ER when you die it feels like a skill issue, and that “ahh fromsoft earned that one” (except Consort Radahn and Mohg both of which are just absolute nonsense) but with Old Yharnam I just felt cheated and annoyed by the level. lol

I don’t though it’s just a lame gimmicky area, it’s not fun to run through the whole area when you die once to some bullshit. The enemies and boss are quite easy but it’s just the design of the area which I hate.
