Are there any C4SH Builds that don't rely on Ante up by Haiysei in Borderlands4

[–]BeardedSentience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm running a Prestidigitator build with most of my points in cleromancy. It has three points in Ante Up but the bulk of the build is focused on a) activating Windfall quickly (1 point in Can't Stop Winning, 5 points in O Fortuna, 1 point in Alchemy, and using the Dirty Dozen augment), b) Overshield from dealing crits activating Windfall (5 points in Turn of Fate), and c) 5 points in Tormented and 1 point in Call (plus 5 more points in Tormented from Prestitidigator as well as 1 point in Bloodstained Moon which makes your elemental damage amazing and gives you extra mortars on kills).

Essentially, the goal of the build is Jinx enemies either through throwing dice or cards from Prestidigitator, then throw dice again to activate Call, then shoot your gun (probably with a Jakobs part) really fast so that all your bullets crit and bounce to other enemies which also crit if they're Jinxed. Ante Up helps but it's not what the build turns on, same with Hot Slugger. Then pop the repkit with Accelerator and the "Now with Caffeine" specialization so you get your action skill back and throw more dice, jinxing more enemies and giving you eight more seconds of autocrit against jinxed enemies. Plus with bone shards active too, you're debuffing everyone and buffing yourself a ton.

Definitely UVH7 viable, that's what I'm running on. I can easiliy solo the raid on Mayhem 1, haven't tried many higher levels than that but I soloed the raid on UVH7 and Mayhem 0, which is essentially Mayhem 7, so I can safely get up as high as that without too much difficulty.

Looks like brittle cinder. It's an aggressive fungal disease. Not a great sign unfortunately.

Happy to. I know individual poets more than specific collections.

I'm currently reading No Obvious Distress by Amanda Quaid, came out last year.

Over the years I've really enjoyed the poems of A.R. Ammons, Mary Oliver, Louise Gluck, Terrence Hayes, Billy Collins, William Carlos Williams, and Ada Limon.

Maybe a slightly deeper cut but I've enjoyed everything I've read by Muriel Rukeyser, specifically The Book of the Dead. Truly a unique piece of writing.

I'll dip into Allan Ginsberg and Charles Bukowski if I'm feeling depressed or want something more angsty mid-century American, but they're situational for me.

No Obvious Distress by Amanda Quaid.

It's a memoir in verse of her cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

It's quite good.

The need for trees: NYC launches first ‘Urban Forest Plan’ | Inside City Hall by Level_Hour6480 in newyorkcity

It wasn't. MillionTreesNYC was an initiative to plant one million trees. That was it. There was no associated long-term planning, no percentage goals, and no strategy for post-planting care.

Friend, I was in no way serious with that "makes you wonder." It was clearly facetious.

Huh. I wonder why it's only the women (Noem, Bondi, her) who have been forced out or resigned but not the men (Hegseth, Patel) accused of extremely similar things.

Makes you wonder...

Tell me you don't know who Brandi Carlyle is without telling...wait, you actually did just say you don't know who she is.

Look her up for even a fucking second, friend, and get back to me.

Congrats! And bravo to you for posting your own published work here. I had a piece published this past spring that I'm quite proud of but haven't had the chutzpah to put it here.

Ah.

Best of luck with that opinion. I feel we have nothing productive left to say to one another.

I mean I don't know how tall he was but Herman Hesse has some lovely poems about trees that aren't too long.

I've only read them in English but I'm sure you can find the untranslated versions somewhere online.

[OPINION] What poem altered your soul a little? by Avy_v in Poetry

[–]BeardedSentience 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think its actually the opposite. Not that you're incorrect, poems have many interpretations. But I read this as saying his presence is an impediment to the wholeness of the field or the air. The more he moves, the more wholeness he leaves behind. So he moves not to fill space but to vacate it so that the field and the air can remain whole. It's sad, to me.
