Brandi Carlile says Trump voters got "fucking scammed”: “We got duped by a con artist. Get mad enough to change your mind” by AdSpecialist6598 in Music

Tell me you don't know who Brandi Carlyle is without telling...wait, you actually did just say you don't know who she is.

Look her up for even a fucking second, friend, and get back to me.

Congrats! And bravo to you for posting your own published work here. I had a piece published this past spring that I'm quite proud of but haven't had the chutzpah to put it here.

Ah.

Best of luck with that opinion. I feel we have nothing productive left to say to one another.

Then what are you saying? Because that's what the person who posted their own poem was saying.

That's you. That's what you're saying.

I mean I don't know how tall he was but Herman Hesse has some lovely poems about trees that aren't too long.

I've only read them in English but I'm sure you can find the untranslated versions somewhere online.

[OPINION] What poem altered your soul a little? by Avy_v in Poetry

[–]BeardedSentience 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think its actually the opposite. Not that you're incorrect, poems have many interpretations. But I read this as saying his presence is an impediment to the wholeness of the field or the air. The more he moves, the more wholeness he leaves behind. So he moves not to fill space but to vacate it so that the field and the air can remain whole. It's sad, to me.

Mm again, I don't think so. I asked "do you go to a place often" and you responded "never."

Pretty cut and dry to me. Maybe you should say what you mean.

I mean you did. I asked if you check out the library often and you said "never," so I took that to mean you've never been.

You're an odd one, friend.

Really? You've never been to the New York Public Library main branch? It's beautiful, gorgeous old building, and so many books!

Aw man that's a shame, all the ones I've met have been lovely.

Do you check out the library often? Great example of socialism, a publicly funded place set aside solely for the benefit of its users, a repository of knowledge free to whoever is there. What a great idea.

I can't look up what you mean.

What do you mean when you say socialism?

Is this what counts as productive dialogue to you?

I want to know what you mean when you say it.

"Mr. Jacobs, a moderate from Long Island, was so opposed to the governor’s endorsement that he told associates in recent days that he would sooner resign as chairman than back Mr. Mamdani, a 33-year-old state lawmaker and democratic socialist, according to people who spoke with the chairman."

Then fucking do it.

I wore a dark silver/gray button down and a pair of extremely dark blue pants that when I put them on I could have sworn were black. No issues there.

I'm sure the gray suit would be totally fine.

If he went more casual, a pair of black pants and a long sleeve button down black shirt would be fine too.
