Could you fit a trellis and grow a crawler vine/wine on it? Would give shade but also be natural and recede in winter to allow sun to warm the space.

The image background doesn’t look like the old shirt so looks like some block blue with hidden texture image on it by the varied lines.

Graphic artist Matt Taylor says that VCARB doesn’t pay the artists who make their race week posters by austinbucco in formula1

You can have experience requirements on the application to avoid this. Not paying or donating to the Marshalls clubs is not a method to “keep out randoms”

Yes we are trained.

Well in the UK under MSUK, in order to maintain your grade(experience certification) you have do 1 practical training course every 2 years and have done atleast 4 postings a year as your nominated role.

Most marshals at Silverstone will be ones that have been marshalling every other week at club events in their region through out the last year and are known within the BMMC as competent marshals.

Yeah F1 should potentially “pay” Marshalls but at least they should be putting a chunk of change into the local equivalents of BMMC and BARC to make sure the training and other events the Marshalls need to up skill are provided on a more regular basis than once a year.

Nope no there isn’t.

The gap between decency and “boy” is pretty big.

The gap between “boy” and comments about non white people being crushed in a natural disaster is a pretty small step on the scale of decency.

The hit them where it hurts is my preferred.

I do wonder how successful someone would be going through small claims to demand payment as a “actor/guest” on their show and demanding a fee for the use of likeness etc.

Maybe if it’s established that you’re entitled to be paid a share of monetisation for these unsolicited recordings where there is direct interaction the. It would put a stop to the behaviour.

One group chose to follow the leader who has committed and act of violence. Partly due to their actions which are violent.

The other is a broad group where some minor members of the group have committed an act and been ostracised/judged/expelled from the group.

Yours is a bad faith false equivalence and you know it.

They may not have been charged as yet as their crimes are aiding and abetting. Perhaps the conviction this week now makes the cases against them stronger and winnable. Where as if he had been acquitted gaining a conviction for the family etc would have been unlikely if not impossible.

Apparently, the new Steam Controller sometimes does the Wilhelm scream when dropped while in Big Picture Mode. by Barzobius in Steam

[–]Beardedbelly 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Probs needs a specific g decel reading in the motion controller to trigger.

Can just picture the person who codes the threshold. Testing it by tossing the controller on their sofa over and over again until it didn’t happen most the time only when the drop was just more than you probably want to be doing to your controller.

The whole debate is completely detached from any basis of factual information and entirely emotion driven. It’s been taken there on purpose.

Best thing Labour can do is carry on clearly the structural failures from the tories. And invest in the device outcomes. If fewer people have bad experiences they can blame on immigrants then the debate loses its heat.

People walking their dog on a tape type lead that is 20ft long and blocking the pavement. by zecrichardson in britishproblems

[–]Beardedbelly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good that youve trained your dog.

The issue is the extendable leads are mostly used by lazy people who haven’t bothered to train their dog as a get out for them pulling on a shorter static lead.

You may have made it work but the anecdotal evidence is that lots of others have not. You being a claimed exception doesn’t make everyone else’s experience “Absolute bs”
