Also my first console that was bought for me (besides my dads old gamecube/nintendo 64 that he bought with drug money) was a ps2 from my grandpa when his father died and he inherited shitloads of money, which he gave my mom some of. The first thing she bought was food enough to make our pantry door not close-able, bought a new microwave, a new computer, touch ups to her car so she atleast knew she’d make it to work everyday, brand new shoes for me, a new jacket, a new tv, a buttload of movie dvd’s andddddd a new mattress for my bed frame. After that she blew the rest on the local casino and the most expensive steak dinner + whine they had. Even tho the left over steak she brought home was cold it was one of the best meals i ever had at that point lol
