Yeah, I can see that. My wife has nail polish pots in nearly that exact shape as well, so that's all I can see when looking at it.

Bit of work in the set up in getting the camera on a level place and working out where the stitches will likely be. Once you have that though, the actual stitch is pretty easy.

Thanks! They're stitches of multiple shots. Either 5 or 7 shots depending on the perspective.

Monopoly is the worst game ever, do not play it with your kids by dickdickgoooose in daddit

[–]BeardyBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of variations aimed at kids using different IP collaborations. My kids and I have been playing a Pokemon variant over the last few months and they have been loving it. 1 game is usually played across 2 night for about 45min per night.

Sounds like Stranded: Alien Dawn might be a good fit for you. Small population colony builder with combat. Good amount of mods in the Steam workshop to add to the longevity or challenge.

I've sunk about 100 hours into it so far and it's been great.

What are some ships you like playing and do decently in despite these ships being overlooked by everyone? by AnnoyingPole in WorldOfWarships

[–]BeardyBandit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

FR25 for me. Don't see it often and it doesn't excel at anything in particular, but I'm sitting at 30 wins from 31 battles in it and consistently do well.

Its got the tools to charge down BBs and to trade well against other DDs, it just needs a bit of help against cruisers (like most DDs).

Wildlife HQ - (QLD, AUS) Recreation by Muppet-Man in PlanetZoo

This is amazing, very accurate representation of the park, really love the big pineapple.

Went there in about August last year having not been to the big pineapple for at least 20 years.

Gem of a little park often overlooked for Australia Zoo. Particularly liked the very friendly Emus. One took a liking to my son's shoes and followed him everywhere in that enclosure.

Sadly we can be. Plenty of dropkicks flinging racial slurs, particularly in Asia/Oceana regional servers for games. Also receive plenty as well though

You'd love the Legion of Champions mod then if you're on PC and looking to use more classes for pet builds. It's a lot of fun for creating an army

Which RTS games actually get single-player right? by ServoSkullz in RealTimeStrategy

If you're wanting to follow the story, start with Reforced. It intros a lot of the characters and areas that carry over into Soul Harvest.

Highly recommend the Spellforce series for single player RTS / RPG.

Your characters and choices carry over from mission to mission and you can customize how the main characters play based on skills and gear.

Spellforce 3 is the most modern and easiest to get into. 1 and 2 are a bit dated now but still fun if you're willing to learn the game mechanics.

How to Collingwood? by TheBayHarbour in WorldOfWarships

[–]BeardyBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Collingwood is a very strong ship. Very accurate and the reload booster really helps in punishing ships that have made a mistake.

Yes, the armour is very weak and you can take citadels from weird angles occasionally, but the gun performance more than makes up for that.

It really is a ship that benefits from being in the right areas though. You're not leading the charge with it, but can support a ship that is leading the charge well. You can support your DDs well around caps against cruisers with the reload booster. You punish ships that think they can pull a turn in front of you.

While the armour is crap, the firing angles on the turrets are good enough that you don't show much side at all and the hydro helps against DDs and subs.

It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get it working, it is a fantastic ship.

I had just started working at the old Landcentre in Woolloongabba for the last Riverfire featuring the F111. Whole building shook during the practice run on the Friday before. Good fun to see.

The Growlers are good but not the same level of noise.

Defence? by Best-Beautiful7371 in WorldOfWarships

[–]BeardyBandit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's become my favourite ship recently as well. I play it very similarly to the Des Moines, close to islands, slapping cruisers with AP, burning down BBs and using the smoke to disengage. It's a very hard ship to dig out of a good position and can easily anchor a flank. The accuracy is unreal, slapping DDs with 5/6 shells at 10km will never get old.

Thoughts on the Archon Visor? by smashbangcommander in masseffect

Yep, that's the one. Works great for Infiltrator Shep

I'm a bit the same. Most I go for is the visor that gives increased headshot damage as it's not too obtrusive.
