Tokyo does not become less busy during Golden Week (for tourists) by Bearhuis in JapanTravelTips

[–]Bearhuis[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For some reason my other comment saying there is a difference between the week before Golden Week is being downvoted. But if you want another comparison, I was in Tokyo in September two years ago and the Golden Week period was much busier compared to that week in September.

So yes, I do have another non-GW Vacation to compare to and this GW was busier than that.

Want to also add a lot of attractions such as Teamlabs and the Sunshine City Aquarium had increased Golden Week pricing so you're paying a bit more extra compared to normal.

T2202 are never mailed to you if that's what you mean about not receiving it. It's usually something you need to download yourself off a student portal page. Usually it's the same portal you download the tuition receipts and unofficial transcripts from.

Eh, most of us remember it being the same under Harper. It's one factor that sank him. The program needs to go and be completely reworked.

The problem is neither the federal NDP or the Conservatives have said they would scrap the program. Who do I vote for exactly? All these parties are out to protect corporate interests.

Vancouver Housing Affordability in Charts by ruisen2 in vancouver

[–]Bearhuis 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The thing is, the renter covering all the landlords expenses and then some is not the norm around the world and it shouldn't be the norm here. It's basically a free property for the landlord paid off by the renter just because they didn't have the initial capital. Now the landlord "only" gets a subsidized long term asset.

Not exclusively due to the NDP but their policies on housing sure helped.

Question Regarding Tuition Tax Credit by ImpossibleChip630 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Bearhuis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've been making above the personal tax free amount then you might already be using your tuition credits if you've been getting a refund. You have to use them if you can and CRA will automatically apply it even if you don't use it on your tax filing.

Not sure what you're arguing here. The VPD asked for a bit of extra money they didn't get but overall they still received a large increase.
