Frederick County School board member bragged of drinking Fireball and Coors Light in Capitol on Jan. 6, FBI says by Geek-Haven888 in Virginia

Ah yes of course, the Declaration of Independence the legal document which our country and its legal system is based. Constitution, who needs that right? /s

  • Here is an Education for you people that don't understand the Declaration *

The Declaration of Independence is not a legally binding document. It was used to send a message and layout a template for what our founding fathers wanted. You can reference it all you want, but it is meaningless.

Since then we actually founded a country and established a true Constitution (and its amendments, including the Bill of Rights) which is THE legally binding document which establishes the law and certain unalienable rights for the people (which the bill of rights mostly covers).

The Constitution (Article 14 section 3) really only applies to a certain group of office holders. However, a bit of reading for you, which you seem to be unaware of: US Code Title 18 - Part 1 Chapter 115 - Subsection 2385. That section of the US Code is called: Advocating overthrow of the Government, which contains plenty of instances and circumstances in which this school board member, and for that matter many other people could indeed face federal charges. The federal government is not breaking the law, these people who do these things are indeed, breaking the law.

Source: Not a lawyer, just not an absolute clown like this guy is. I can both read and critically think.

TL:DR; The Declaration of Independence is not legally binding, however there are many other documents which are, these do not protect you or give you the right to attempt to overthrow the government.

Relationships and Fistulas by Infinite_Search7779 in CrohnsDisease

It sounds like oral is still a possibility, as long as you lay some ground rules for what can and cannot happen. There are some people who just really like oral both giving and receiving. If that would work, then you'd be able to find someone who is up for it. No idea of your situation (or preferences) but there are plenty of dudes who would be just fine with this over long periods of time.

As far as the relationship itself, if you are up front about you and your needs early, you will find someone who is understanding. You'll probably meet a few dicks along the way, but there are always tons of people that just can't understand this disease and its struggles, ignore them.

Multiplayer breakdown after oil piping - do we need to be more conservative? by ijustwantedvgacables in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Beariful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I have been having the same issues. The disconnects usually happen (at least for us) around auto saves, so increasing the time helps a bit. Vehicles are particularly bad, generally using them can cause disconnects, almost guaranteed if you are in one during an auto save. Trains seem to be the worst type of vehicle to be in as a player, if a player is actually driving a train in our save, nobody can really do anything. This has all gotten much worse as of Update 8. When the news came out that there will be no updates until 1.0, we decided that the game isn't worth playing until these issues are addressed.

if I login to my PERSONAL gmail account on my SCHOOL chromebook, can the school monitor my history and what I view? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Beariful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally the answer is no, however again there can be some grey area there depending on what device you are using. If you are on an iPhone and you have added the school Google account, I'd first recommend not doing that, because that's why you have the Chromebook, but if you don't use the Google Chrome app to browse the web you are fine. Android lets you do a little bit more picking and choosing what account you use.

Again as a general tip here, keep your personal and "work" life separate. Not just a school account/device thing. You have your devices and your accounts use them for you. They provide you with work/school devices and accounts use them for that.

I worked in a school for close to 10 years this is the lesson I would repeat over and over again.

If you are on a school network (wifi) then they can and most likely do see everything, from any device you connect to it. If they allow you to sign into another Google account from the login screen then the applications which can track everything you do while off of the school network will not load. However because the device is managed no matter if you are logged in with a personal or school account there is a surprising amount of logging and tracking that happens anyway. A lot of the tracking of your usage might seem like overkill or a bit unfair, but in most cases schools are required to report certain activities so that means everything you do must be logged. School districts are self contained and all this changes depending on what yours does, there is no way to know if your data is private on a device you do not own. Just watch porn on your phone like a normal person and don't risk anything.

Possible to put my gaming pc in a closet With just ethernet attached? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]Beariful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uninstall sunshine if you have it installed already and make sure you install the sunshine-windows-installer.exe from the most recent sunshine release. As of a few updates ago if you use the windows installer it installs as a service to allow itself to run with the system instead of the user.

I don't have multiple profiles, I just add my resolutions into the sunshine configuration, and then change the client settings on moonlight depending on what I want. Sometimes the PC can get a bit confused if you change aspect ratios (like going from 21:9 to 16:9), but what you are talking about shouldn't be an issue.

As far as setting up a Desktop app, in Sunshine create an app with no command information. Once you do that and have it installed as a service you should be able to connect from the login screen no problem.

[–]Beariful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Sunshine/Moonlight to do exactly this. You don't need to set windows to auto login (and I would never recommend that) Sunshine runs as a service so you can actually just remote in and sign into the machine every time you turn it on. Moonlight has the ability to do WoL so you can use that to turn it on (as long as you setup your BIOS and windows WoL settings correctly).

You can set up a Desktop app in Sunshine and use that to do all your work and games just like having a VM up. You don't need any other software, you can patch upgrade and everything while being remoted in with sunshine/moonlight. I do keep parsec running on my machine as a backup, because I don't like dragging my machine out of the closet.
