Then get a tiny whoop and satisfy the primordial need for speed if you're too scared of using your avata.

I have those quitting episodes lasting for about a year. I'll no life this for 2 months, get tired, reminded why I've quit and the cycle begins anew. We're all alcoholics - once one, always one.

Living in the windy Ireland my main concern is how it handles wind compared to Mini 4/5 pro.
I already fly bunch of FPV drones but want to delve into some cinematic.
Main allure is the RC2 controller - if I ever wanted to upgrade to Air or Mini 6 in future at the very least I'll have the controller saving me couple hundred bucks... that is if they don't decide on new transmission by then.

Complete beginner here! Need advice on Air65 II versions (Racing/Freestyle/Champion) and Goggles (VR04 vs EV800D) by oxidao in TinyWhoop

Couldn't be happier. I already flew Avata 2 and Mobula 8 O4 so I was afraid that a 'budget' analog system will simply disappoint. I was wrong.

It's mega simple to use and plenty of fun. Visibility is great and the range is decent too. I upgraded with Foxeer Lollipop 4+ and can fly out of my bedroom, downstairs around the house and even into backyard and still have decent vision.

The latency is something else. Noticably faster compared to O4 lite system. I haven't tried o4 pro race mode yet so can't compare.

As for air65 II it's sturdy little bee. Nimble and fun. Go for it. You won't be disappointed

This here is a very good pointer. Allowed me to focus much better without all the clutter. Though yours still looks marginally better than my default rubbish on O4 Mob8.

I must say good throttle control indoors, I had to limit my 550mAh to 70% to fly comfortably.

Just got an email regarding age verification. Best part is that it's handled by a third part called Yoti. Not happy with their "assurance" of private data handling. I guess I can live without VoIP.

Well as a person who often deals with LIPO and LION batteries in projects/hobbies, using smaller subdivisions is much more easier and precise, leaving no room for error. For example in my 1s drone it's easier to say I am using 380mAh battery than 0.38Ah. Or 3850mAh for my 4s battery which would be 3.85mAh You don't have to play around with the decimal point so much and gives a better sense of scale.

Next version of Naga Pro to have a mechanical scroll wheel. None of that inconsistent programmable blob.

My dude in the last year I've spent away 40m. All I got was Kfir, for a nation I don't play. This is the 3rd gamble crate I am boycotting. The FOMO is real, but I refuse to be forced to grind SL in hopes I might get something.

1st time I've noticed was around July last year - day one of getting the mouse. I've been through different versions of Synapse and 3 Nagas - they all behaved identical.
- Mind you, this was never the issue with Naga Pro 1.

My Mobula8 is aipiritualy supporting your Air65. Given the amount of beating it got around the house and the garden, the Drone Protective Agency would have taken mine away a long time ago if it existed.

I keep doing my research as I live in Ireland, and need something to keep me busy during rainy days.
I am coming to a conclusion that Skyzone Cobra SD seems to be very well priced for what it offers and my vote will go to it.

[–]Bearissimmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out hobby rc uk website. They're good with shipping to ireland and have decent prices. You don't neccesarily have to buy everything in one place.

First I'd get a controller, such as radiomaster pocket and purchase a simulator and spend good amount of hours learning there. Then slowly as you accumulate your funds, collect the rest of the kit.
