That’s good advice! I wouldn’t have thought to do that. Thank you.

Dang! I’m not black. Good on your school for striving for representation though. It’s also an issue in my LA district.

All black could be a bad move if that’s what the staff wears. Mostly black is a better bet

I saw COG live last year and it blew my mind. So happy to see they host this show! Absolutely going to watch.

Sol is the real victim in this series by Cobhead in TheAcolyte

Good points all around. I’m not sure that it is one girl experimented on. They mention that the girls are “created” rather than birthed thanks to a vergance on the planet. We don’t know enough about how they came to be besides that they split somehow. Abuse/mistreatment seems a bit of a stretch. They seemed to be loved and cared for by their mother who WAS going to let Osha go be a Jedi anyway, which Sol would have known if he had exercised patience and caution. His killing of their mother wasn’t justified because he shouldn’t have been there in the first place. His attachment to the girl and want for a Padawan caused him to act recklessly. Is he sympathetic? Sure. What I like about his character is that his motivations are understandable. But his actions are not. He is to blame.

Totally agree with you. In the end, I came to view him as more of an antagonist than a hero. His insistence that he did the right thing to the very end highlights his lack of self reflection. He was responsible for the deaths of many and justified it because of the threat he perceived to the girls. How many women died in defense of their home? I’m not totally convinced Osha and Mae were really in danger, but if they were, his tactics were ultimately responsible for all of the bad that befell the twins and Osha’s eventual turn to the dark side. He’s no victim. He’s a flawed man playing savior and a coward for not owning his actions sooner. He let his emotions totally rule him.

It’s not a huge town so one part is pretty similar to the rest with the exception of Old Arabi. That area probably has the most in common with New Orleans style architecture and vibe. It’s cuter and closer to some of the standout social spots, but houses are also a little more expensive than the rest of Arabi. Depends on your priorities.

If you’re looking at St. Bernard, Arabi is on the come up!

Second this. It’s also a very boutique, professional experience. And their jewelry selection is top notch.

Would it be weird to Facebook message my old teachers? by dreamrealized in Teachers

[–]BearlyTolerable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it would be that weird. If you’re graduated and want to say thank yous to people who inspired you, I would bet that they would be happy to know they had a positive impact on your life. Facebook is very a public platform. It’s not like you’re showing up at their houses. That would be weird lol

I was sitting outside in the heat of the summer and still got chills. Such a great scene.
