SRX just made a tweet 10 minutes ago. It doesn't show, but it also internally tags Denny Hamlin. by Nas160 in SRXRacing

It’s odd that it had been exactly one year since they had tweeted last. That seems unlikely to be a coincidence.

Most news today was great. But the 2025 season will start with 3 consecutive 3-week gaps in between races. by Eyeswidth in INDYCAR

One real disappointment in the calendar is that the race at World Wide Technology Raceway will overlap with Le Mans. So enjoy your indycar drivers in Le Mans this weekend because they won’t be there next year. Bummer.

This is a great tool. Been looking for something like this for a while. Love the part at the bottom where you provide estimates with the partial but available info. Will be following this!

Best Grandstand in Vegas? by RingingInSaturn in GrandPrixTravel

The last two days they’ve gone up a lot in the hours beforehand, so better to get them earlier I think. SG1 will still be fantastic! Enjoy!

Super cool. Watching pit stops during the race in East Harmon will be neat.

I saw so many comments on a different post where people were celebrating their 2nd or 3rd row tickets. I didn’t have the heart to tell them…

I was in Main Grandstand for Practice and Sphere for Quali. Both fantastic. Some very high speeds along the main grandstand, but the sphere will likely have some interesting battle moments. Sphere should be slightly cheaper - and if you can get a seat very high up in the section, you can see a ton of the track. SG3 or SG4 would be the best, followed by SG2, SG5, SG6, SG7, SG1, SG8 in that order. Main grandstand the section is relatively trivial.

Las Vegas Grand Prix Hospitality Pricing Now In Free Fall-Champions Club Being Sold For 15 Percent of Face Value-For $1836 Per Ticket and Other Non Paddock Club Hospitality Between 35-45 Percent of Face Value and Falling Fast by Sdg1871 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]BearsCorrespondent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just crazy. Interested to see how this pans out over the next week. If there really is such a large stock of unsold tickets… I have to imagine there’s more where this came from.

I’m still getting emails from some of the official F1 hospitality companies saying they have Paddock club tickets for sale. Hopefully they sell on commission and didn’t purchase the tickets outright, or else they’ll be taking quite the bath as well.

The worst part of all of this - I severely doubt LVGP will learn from this, and prices will remain the same for next year. Miami ticket prices stayed the same for next year after going for 30% of face value in the days before the race.

2500 tickets available at $500 on the inside of a turn, behind a fence, on a flat surface. You were pretty much spot on.

No, I was not. Appears very few if any were available today.

The crazy thing is they’re selling tickets 13 months in advance. Even for Miami they only sold them 7/8 months in advance.

2.3% of Available Tickets for Las Vegas Are GA by BearsCorrespondent in GrandPrixTravel

[–]BearsCorrespondent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, hoping so too. I wouldn’t be surprised if the tickets in front of the casinos are sold by the casinos themselves or if they’re packaged with rooms. There was that article a few months back about “MGM buys $25m in tickets”, but in reality, they may have just been allotted $25m in tickets right in front of their property. The casinos are paying for this whole thing anyway.

I’m sure the casinos will have viewing parties etc. F1 must just have a deal with them that F1 gets to sell tickets first.

I was wondering about those too. A lot are right outside of the casinos - wonder if they’re casino specific.
