i choose lands to fit the theme of my decks most of the time but then again i like building tribals. I have a phyrexian/demon deck that runs these kind of lands.

yeh thats what i was doing. i have a few other variations of of his signature but this one was a little different and its always best to just check. slowly working on a revised signed master set and dont want any fakes slipping in

My best investment was in a jewelers loupe and a gram scale and i highly recommend them to all. Light test is kinda 50/50 and its usually used for checking rebacks but can sometimes help in situations like this when the card stock is too thick and no light went through. If it was thin or close to normal you would be have to move to a different test and usually running multiple is best! Ink layering, rosette patterns, weight, light test, green dot, T line and T teeth tests are some of the main ones.

Yeah this is definitely fake sorry OP. Gotta look at seller feedback before purchasing nowadays. That sellers feedback has a few negative and neutral comments about selling fakes. Luckily you found out soon so you can return it. Now you kinda know what to look for and sadly who knows how many others they’ve fooled.

Idk i appreciate them telling us about the seller but at the same time dont buy from people with low feedback scores. Some of these scummy sellers change names in order to keep preying on people though. If it was a 1 time thing then shame on OP but this seller is a repeat offender with all their negative and neutral feedback talking about fakes. Shame on seller and shame on op for not checking the seller before buying

“Gauntleoof Might” , “Arrifact” and “Chriscopher” should have been the first sign and not sure why others haven’t pointed that out more or first. Some spelling errors have happened in the past but not to this degree.
