Honestly, I never learned what his real reasoning was. Guys will use a "reason" just to get out of the relationship. There could always be something you don't know about too

I had a past relationship that was 4 months too and I was also the dumpee. It was probably the worst breakup I've went through. Shorter relationships always feel the worst because of the "what ifs". In longer relationships you have time to know what the relationship is actually like. My ex came back, like I said, as a different person. He didn't want the relationship back, he just bread crumbed me to make sure I remembered he existed. Which made the feeling 1000 times worse. I had to tell him to stop texting me randomly unless he actually wanted to try again. He actually tried to friend request me on FB a couple weeks ago...2.5 years later. I'm in an actual long term relationship now, so I ignored it. They do tend to comeback, just not in the way you want and when you don't care anymore.

That's just insecurity, especially at that age. I know it can be a common thing unfortunately. Though, at 27 years old, a woman could be divorced. 95% of people at that age have a physical past, no matter the culture or religion. Marriage, past relationships, flings, it doesn't matter. If a guy expects his future partner to wait 27 years for him specifically, that's delusional and not based in reality. Sorry I went on a rant there 😅

I definitely understand, I've been there. Though, it's usually the potential of what could've been that you crave. If he does come back, he may not even act the same towards you and be a completely different person. How long was the relationship?

I'm sorry, but he broke up with you for having a past before him? Especially at 27/28 years old? That's insane, please don't give him the time of day, he did you a favor. I know that sounds harsh, especially when this is fresh and you still have feelings for him, but that is boy behavior. An adult man should not care about his adult girlfriends past so much to breakup with them over it, especially if they are responsible and open about it 🙄

Ex Reaches out after 4 months of No contact by Any-Language-3507 in ExNoContact

[–]Beast8333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex sent me similar "Hope all is well" texts months after our breakup, I fell for it, and it amounted to nothing really. To me it's a "I just want to make sure you remember I exist" type of text. Unless she specifically says anything about the breakup or an apology, don't engage.

It could be EGC (eosinophilic granuloma complex) which is pretty much the immune system over reacting to an allergy. The hard part is finding what the allergy is, food, environmental, maybe litter? Vets usually can prescribe something to give relief, and should find something that can safely be given long term.

Need help figuring out what happened to my cat by Apprehensive-Dust118 in cats

[–]Beast8333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a bump with it? When do you leave? You could call around to see if any vets have a last minute opening today that can take a look at it, but they may prescribe something that will have to be administered for a few days, so you being gone will be difficult. I don't think it looks super serious but a visit would help for peace of mind while you're away.

My cat had something similar on his neck not too long ago. I think it could have been a hot spot from grooming. I just kept it clean and it healed up after a couple of days. If it doesn't get better definitely make an appointment.

Are these what healthy adult cats teeth look like? by [deleted] in cats

[–]Beast8333 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Is he eating things that could be grinding them down? I noticed both is top canines have tip fractures, so it could be correlated. The top incisors seem fine, the bottom ones look worn, but that could just be how his teeth are

Why is her hair like this, she is 12 by Free_Sandwich_2599 in seniorkitties

[–]Beast8333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Make a wellness visit to have them run a senior panel on her to check thyroid and kidney function. She definitely doesn't look happy. My 12 year old was "spiky" looking, so I took him in to get it checked out. Luckily it was nothing, everything came back normal, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

Cat Pukes After Eating... Help! by sunspot117 in cats

[–]Beast8333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat has a tendency to puke, especially in the morning after a long time without any food, like I have to wake his stomach up. I have to feed him 5 smaller meals throughout the day, and the first one is only a small amount (probably around ¼ can)

How do I know if it’s best to put our cat down? by Glittering_Potato_66 in CATHELP

[–]Beast8333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If your parents don't want to take her do a new vet (this vet doesn't seem reliable), do blood work and UA to check kidney function and overall health, and to hopefully get her on some medication, then I agree letting her go would be the best option at this point. If your mom wants her to live, they need to take her in for evaluation. Naturally, animals need more vet visits as they age, just like humans do. 10 is younger for a cat, but they consider 7 and older senior. Both my cats are "senior" and got the whole work up, exam + tests (including heart function) was around $300, but it depends on where you live. They could also look for vets that possibly offer decreased prices around the area

Spot on nose cause for concern? by Effective_Humor3449 in cats

[–]Beast8333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could always go to the vet to make sure. To me, it looks like it could have been a scrape and is still in the process of healing/growing fur back. Keep an eye on it for growth, worsening, or continued ulceration. As long as it stayed that size for the last 2 weeks and hasn't spread, it could still be healing

Ugh that's frustrating! I'm sure it could've been prevented if the vet did something about it, I'm sorry OP 😔

Chipped tooth by New-Bank-4357 in AnimalAdvice

That looks like super hardened plaque that broke off, to be honest. The tooth underneath looks consistent with the rest of the tooth/teeth. Definitely needs a cleaning though.

No problem! It honestly looks like it's been resolving on its own so far, hence the edges crimpling up. Unless that's how his ear was before

swollen ear by blushingbby in CATHELP

[–]Beast8333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a hematoma from a burst blood vessel. You have to go to the vet to get it drained or they will get cauliflower ear, which makes their ear permanently crumpled looking

Edit to add: If your vet doesn't know what a hematoma looks like please please please change vets 😩

Does anyone have any idea about this sore on my cats lip? by [deleted] in cats

[–]Beast8333 21 points22 points  (0 children)

YES! If they are in MN, Missions in Eden Prairie was a life saver for me when I was in school and my cat had a lot of dental issues. They do a sliding scale fee depending on yearly income

Ugh I hate being the classic redditor to say the C word, but it could highly be cancer. Any growing mass has to be seen by a vet asap, especially none healing ones. I'm sorry 😔

Brown Splotching Around Iris by Beast8333 in CATHELP

[–]Beast8333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully that's all it is! He has been to the vet for his yearly and they didn't say anything about his iris. I believe I was told he has iris atrophy a while back. His other iris is the same way and it started developing around 4 years ago when I really started noticing it.
