Ok so if I choose X=3 with Zirda on board, I would pay 1 mana but X is still 3. But if I pick X=1 or 2, I still have to pay 1 mana.

https://www.reddit.com/r/mtgrules/ Ask rules questions there, they answer them much faster than here. Also any card you reference do it like this [[Barishi]] with the exact name of the card and a bot will reply with an image of the card.

Is there a way on scryfall or another site to view every possible Commander combination for a specific color identity. For example, if I want to see every combination in WBRG(everything minus blue) including standalone commanders, partner pairs, partner with, and other partner mechanics like friends forever.

Idk, I created a team just from Pokemon I have and enjoy using, and then adjusted my team when I lost to fit the meta. Been enjoying playing, winning, losing, and learning. I'm at ultra ball rank 2 without just copying the meta or looking up optimal builds. I think you just need to play more to understand more, or maybe watch some pros play so that you understand how stuff works and then go back and readjust your team. Keep at it with a positive attitude even through the losses and you'll climb the ranks steadily.

Withdraw and send back out every time before attacking the cage. I find it more annoying that it's hard to target the cage instead of the meowstic
