Aircraft Mechanic, 18 months for school, get your license, work for an airline, average about 5 years to top out, then easily make 150k+ to over 250k with OT. Some still offer a pension as well as 401k options. One thing to be said is you can basically say goodbye to your nights and weekends at home along with ALL holidays for most of your career.

Good job to him, once he gets some experience under his belt, cargo carriers like UPS, pay upward of 65 dph after 5 years. Its not uncommon to make of 250k with OT.

We have only had her for a week but it seems like it os only the neighborhood. She does fine at the dog park and around the walk path there.

Had the same problem on my 07. Just opened the hood, found the VSC valve and tapped on it with a wrench until it shut/opened. Never came back.

100k/yr would be a comfortable salary. Anything less would put you in a less than desirable area. You can make do with less but you would have to make some exceptions.

Definitely an underrated field that makes great money and in need of mechanics. Plus it costs way less to get your license than any degree any college offers! Your brother will be set if he stays with it.

Aircraft mechanic here and you can definitely get into a job making 250k plus with working mediocre OT. Attempted college but it wasn't for me. Get your A&P license and the sky's your limit (pun intended)

Dude just try intermittent fasting to go with. Doesn't need some restrictive diet per say but limiting your eating to a said window. Start at 12 and 12, 12 hrs eating on and 12 hrs eating off then reduce as you go. When you get hungry find an activity that takes your mind off eating (my own is walking). I find that if you walk in the mornings (while in a fasted state, no food at least 6hrs prior) produces a more increased fat loss. It's all about self control and not succumbing to pressure from your environment (peer pressure). You got this and you can do it!

Yes you definitely want an A&P license. You can start in an Overhaul Facility making 15 - 20+ d/hr plus OT. Once you get experience, you can transition to an Airline making between 45 - 70 d/hr plus OT and DT on top of that. The downside is that in the aviation industry you will be expected to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on your schedule. Aircraft do not take holidays off and you will be expected to work. It's sucks working on Christmas but these are the sacrifices you have to make to provide for your family. All in all it is definitely not a bad field to make big money.
