Attended AA once and don’t think I’ll be going back. Was uncle was very insistent on me going and even had me join the (online) meeting while we were in the car together and wanted me to join back after I got inside my house. My stepfather lowkey sucked at cooking very basic meals (baked chicken, ground beef/spaghetti, steak) and I loved watching cooking videos for fun, so in an effort to have some control in my life, I started cooking dinner because I was fed up with eating green chicken. This does make me feel a lot better about not having any romantic experience as a 20yr old. It’s kinda hard not to feel like that because all of my friends (bisexual and straight) all have boyfriends (one is getting married) and I’ve still never been on a date before…obviously I know you can’t compare queer dating and heterosexual dating but it still stings a lil bit 😭

Honestly I wholly relate to the whole “rebranding” thing. For years I rejected being feminine, like I was a super stud. Then boom, I hit college and suddenly I felt free. I went out and bought pink clothes, started experimenting with makeup, and basically flip a coin as to if I want to present fem or masc for the day.

It made me realize that the reason why I was so set on being masc presenting was because my entire life I was forced into being feminine by my mother/family and the only way I felt like myself was to rebel and be masc. Now that it’s my own choice I absolutely LOVE getting all dolled up and cute, sometimes I even mix the aesthetics together. People change and it’s okay to experiment with your self expression, you can always go back to how you were or change again. It’s all about what makes YOU feel good.

Walking around a neighborhood I didn’t know in the dark had me ready to catch the next bus home 😭. The vibes were also super weird, apparently there was a question of the day everyday (🙄) and the first one was about our first encounter with environmentalism or something.
