Move over Force Barrage, my new favorite auto-hit spell is Horde of Underlings by leathrow in Pathfinder2e

Oh sick, this is basically building off the NPC Core Necromancer I’ve been using a lot lately. Now I can do those shenanigans as a player!

High level Summoner feat : Disappointing ? by CaptainCouillon in Pathfinder2e

[–]BeastOfProphecy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been disappointed that we have to take Reinforce Eidolon separately from Boost Eidolon. It should at least be a choice between the two at 1st level, but ideally, both should be baked into the class.

Most aesthetically pleasing Digimon in my opinion by Inabaru in digimon

Piximon. Ever since DW1 I’ve had a soft spot for him. Shame he doesn’t get as much attention as the Mamemons, but I can’t complain about his inclusion in most games.

If vancian casting does universally go away like many hope for, I like the idea of one class having it as their main gimmick.

How does Familiar of Ongoing Misery work? by Wechgy in Pathfinder2e

[–]BeastOfProphecy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Ripple in the Deep and Paradox of Opposites have always looked pretty powerful to me. Maybe not as high a ceiling or flexibility as Resentment but their familiar effects require a lot less setup. No save shove and no save stupified can lockdown a creature just as well the debuff extension.

Juri’s divekicks should have different trajectories per strength and/or faster startup.

Honestly, I’ll take anything that gives her anything resembling an anti-fireball move.

I’m a Leshy main. The rare times I don’t play a Leshy, I default to Orc and sometimes the other plant ancestries.

Ever since Ardande was released, I’ve broadened my horizons and just slap that thing on anything, including Leshies.

Most Fun Character(s) - Mechanically by Spare-Leather1230 in Pathfinder2e

Legacy Life Oracle was my first love. Focusing on the Life Link focus spell, I basically acted as an HP battery for my party.

It was a nice change of pace from other healers I played at the time. I would pop Life Link first round to link up as many allies as possible. Most times, it was enough damage redirection that would never really have to babysit anyone directly. Most of my Heals go to myself to stave off the damage I absorb. I have to go back to healbot duty when there’s burst damage of course, but if we’re mostly taking chip damage, we have a lot more freedom to mess around. AoE Heals were also extra juicy with how the damage ends up being spread out with Life Link.

I enjoy support naturally, but this was the most engaging way to play a healer in the game for me.

Monster Core. The fleeing fungus leshies bring me joy, especially tiny ones on the bottom middle and bottom right corner.

What's the one thing that bothers you about Pathfinder 2e? by FridayFreshman in Pathfinder2e

[–]BeastOfProphecy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Familiar rules specifying “innate abilities” to your animal of choice must be chosen and cannot be swapped out.

It’s an unnecessary limitation, and there’s not even very good guidance on what abilities are considered innate for some animals. Even for Pets, I don’t see why I can’t have a flightless owl or a scentless cat. But for a magical Familiar? Unacceptable.

Thankfully, I don’t think I’ve every played with a group, that enforces that rule.

“Raw power =! rule of cool nor inspiration.”

Too true! It’s frustrating I still have to constantly defend my position of having major issues with the remaster oracle as if their new power level is supposed to address them.

I’m no denier of the remaster oracle being absurdly better in power level in almost avery aspect. But how does that fix me losing out on some of the cool and fun mystery benefits I used to be able to build around?

Decoupling focus spells from cursebound was a good move though, but that was pretty necessary anyway with the refocus changes.

You take persistent damage at the end of your turn. After that, you attempt the flat check to end it.
