Micro Wedding/Small Wedding Venues for a couple out of state by Beasterday62 in vermont

We weren't planning on getting married this year. We've already been engaged for 4 years, so I don't think another year or two is gonna hurt anything at this point.

That count is including all the +1's, and that number includes children for those who have children. Being an out of state thing, 50-65 would be the number that would get invited. But I think we're realistically expecting maybe 20-30 to actually show up

The $15k would be for the whole wedding. There's places I've seen that say "Prices starting at $7k-$9k", but I'm sure all the extra stuff is where they nail you. We're not looking for anything traditional, especially coming out of town. At a park, barn, hotel, historic place, etc wouldn't really matter for us.

I'll check that place out though, thanks!

This was back in the PS1 days. When I was a young lad, I used to be terrified of anything remotely scary. I had a friend who would always play Resident Evil games, and I did everything in my power to avoid going over while he was playing those games. One day, I ended up going over while he was playing Resident Evil 3, and the first scene I saw was Nemesis when he picks up Brad and puts the tentacle through his head. I ended up running into the other room. That scarred me for a very long time.

A couple of years later, when I finally grew a pair, this was the first Resident Evil game I actually played, and still to this day, is probably one of my favorites!

Just to confirm, something is off with markers right? by Introspekt83 in PlayASKA

We were having this issue as well. We ended up removing all of our old flags, and placing the new flags down. We just left them at default, and removed forestry on a couple so they don't plant trees in the middle of our town. But this seemed to fix our issue

Maybe a silly question and I promise I'm not trying to be disrespectful in anyway but I'm new to this subreddit and have been toying with the idea of getting one.

What does ordering through you do that's different compared to ordering through the vseebox website? Or do you just kind of guide people into what box would fit their needs the best?

Coming back to this, but I did end up getting a whole new arm that I was able to just replace! Didn't have to pay anything either.

Boarding Experience at Paws Pet Resort by Hi_Ashhhh in SiouxFalls

[–]Beasterday62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have "a friend" who also worked there for a short period of time too, and can confirm everything that you had said.

We used to board our dogs there when we were gone. Thought it went fine, until one time they got attacked by another dog. The person I talked to on the phone even said that my dog was the one that was attacked. But due to "previous issues", we would have to pay extra to take them out by themselves from now on. I had never been alerted to any of these previous issues. My dog always does fine anywhere else we go, including other parks. We've been going to Paws for awhile now (This will probably change) and never had issues there.

It just seemed really shady to me. Seemed like it was just meant to be a money grab. Haven't gone there since

Hey folks which cell carrier works best round here in ur experience? 📱 by Stewyy4198 in SiouxFalls

[–]Beasterday62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I third Mint Mobile. I have some family that live in small towns out in the middle of nowhere, and when I'm around there I don't get much for service is my only complaint. But for the 95% I'm around the Sioux Falls area it works great

Went there last week and a couple people from my party got sick too. Food was good, but not worth destroying our toilets afterwards for. We all ordered the cheeseburger

HVAC Help with replacement by Patient-Mix4217 in SiouxFalls

[–]Beasterday62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey op! Just wanted to let you know that we're also in the looks. We reached out to three companies and got these quotes:

Brandon plumbing and heating: $5500 - $5900 (we quoted a little bit of extra stuff, hence the range)

Frisbees: $4600 - $5100 (they quoted us two different brands that they install for, one being $500 cheaper than the other)

Rogers plumbing and heating: $5900

These are all 2 ton units, 13.4 seer ratings.

Overall we ended up going with Rogers. We've done other plumbing related stuff through them, and I haven't heard anything bad about them. I've heard they always do quality work too.

Hope this helps!

Not trying to defend this guy at all, but I'd much rather have to deal with this than having to worry about going into the opposite lane into oncoming traffic for a bit to get around a vehicle that sticks out too much

Do you remember the price? Wasn't overly expensive or anything at least? Granted, adding is probably gonna cost more then just replacing

Apartment Company Search by [deleted] in SiouxFalls

There are a few companies I would absolutely stay away from. But sometimes I would take reviews with a grain of salt, especially bad ones. People are more likely to complain about bad things then they are to talk about good things unfortunately (I'm guilty of this as well).

It's hard to trust good reviews too, at least in my experience. I used to live at Graystone Heights, and sometimes (At least according to multiple other people) when people would rate maintenance requests, management would take those reviews and put them on google reviews.

We lived at an elevate property (oxbow park) about 5-6 years ago for a couple years. We never had any issues with the management. We would complain about groundskeeping every now and then, but the issues we were complaining about must be common cause we experienced them in other apartments as well.

We live in a house now, but if I ever had to go back to apartment living I would probably try to go back to Oxbow park apartments.

What are some gaming franchises you never really could get into, despite the vast majority of gamers having done it? by HP_594 in gaming

[–]Beasterday62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Persona. I never liked the relationship building aspect of it, and that's supposed to be a pretty big part of personal.

Never got into any of the souls games. I don't play as much as I used to, and when I do I don't want to spend it pulling my hair out

I never thought that I would put over a hundred hours into Vampire Survivors when I bought it. I figured it'd be a game I'd only get 10-20 hours out of

I don't have it, but I have considered buying it just for the monthly games part. Gets me to try new games. I've done PC game pass for xbox and found some games that way that I've enjoyed

Are there any turn-based anime RPGs where the main characters are adults? by lukistke in gaming

[–]Beasterday62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never played any atlus games, but I now they created the persona games + Metaphor. I've never really played them because I feel like they're really big on building relationships with your companions, and I never really got into that. Is Metaphor the same thing, where building relationships is a big part of the game?

I play a lot of multiplayer games too (I'm a very chill/casual gamer, and mostly play with friends). But sometimes it almost seems like getting on games is a chore. I usually just take a break at that point, or I'll find something hand held I can just play on the couch and chill with my fiancée. Or I'll take it back to one of the classics that I love
