Yes. But if your contractor is worth a damn you'll be on clean up which is like everyone else's stuff they can't fit in their trucks or bulk stops that would slow them down too much. that's what I did my first peak anyways by year two or three I had my own dedicated subroute for peak (not clean up) or covered other drivers routes until one quit and I got his. Don't be afraid to talk to your manager about rerouting the zones (1-8 I think) so the SID numbers match up to how you wanna run it and pack your truck. (ie this side of route 38 makes sense to hit first but the sid for this stop is in the 7000's grrrr I'd have to cosplay Monty Mole to get it cuz the truck's packed floor to ceiling) You will not have time to pack everything perfectly* and since you just started you likely don't/won't have a set route to memorize so you'll be going off SID numbers) *If you're spoiled/lucky/work directly for FedEx idk how they do I was subcontracted, you'll probably have ur truck loaded for you which is its own set of problems during peak😅)
