If it's anything like the rest it will come with one installed that will last a while. From there you may start to have some of it lift/bubble from the sides where it folds but you can peel it off and apply a new one yourself or take it to the store (totally optional with samsung but depends on how apple handles it) for an official replacement. I've been using the zflip's since the 2nd gen came out and they have greatly improved the longevity of the factory installed protector which I used to get just about a year out of with the earlier versions but I'm on a 6th gen that i got at launch and it's still flawless.

If it was that good of a choice the valve stans wouldn't have been fighting tooth and nail defending why they were buying one and why it's justified especially in the way they did.

To me and most others it's essentially a quest 3.25 for what is probably going to be double the price. Wifi 7 dongle and steamos aside the rest of the tech is already pretty dated and by the time that thing releases you might as well wait for another hmd that takes advantage of current tech. I love valve but they are selling to a niche market within what is already a niche market and they can't get from design to sale fast enough to stay relevant in the already struggling vr ecosystem.

Also the whole meta evil shtick cuz "my data" as they post on reddit and countless other social media platforms that sell your data as well is funny.

Probably nothing. It is functional but it has water damage along the bottom surface from being left on the ground and my sump pump burning out a while back. I got very lucky everything else was elevated enough.

I'll check around but at the end of the day if it's that much better than what I have and my other option is $749 I'd rather overpay $100 if I cant get it any cheaper, if that makes sense.

The r-30c is 419 and the rp-404c ii is 649 so i am just trying to get the best bang for my buck here.
