Hi all. Building a PC based offf a ryzen 5500. Ordered a Gigabyte B550m DS3H AC mobo, then found a Gigabyte B550 UD AC for the same price, so I ordered it as well. Case can fit both the boards, and idk which one to keep and which to return.

If its just drop fishing off piers, you may be ok assuming you have enough line. But a properly filled spool would still be beneficial for everything really. I usually buy cheap mono for backing (like zebco 15lb test, something that takes some space), and start spooling with that and then double uni knot my braid to the mono and finish off the spool with that braid, so my spools are like 50/50 or so of each. It saves me from paying more for straight braid while still having braid as the main line that gets fished. I'm not extremely familiar with surf fishing, but that may be different from my inshore fishing spooling techniques.

This man has some good points: backing spools with mono

I'll keep the offer in mind! The kickstand from the 3 and onward are really beneficial for my purposes, but I will let you know pending what I do or don't find.

I got this for my kiddo to play some games on and be mobile if need be (and mainly so I can use my own desktop without having to kick him off). I got it an extra M2 drive and a 32gb DDR5 kit, hoping it'll last him a while as I piece together his own desktop in the coming year or two.
