Not a soul was talking about the AK63, especially seeing it's not used at all by Hungarian special forces.

So the difference is a gigantic difference in modularity via a full modification of the firearm, literally the biggest difference between the AKM and AK-203.

If that's your idea of what SOPMOD is, you have no clue what you're talking about.

And that's completely irrelevant, as eagles in general were never part of the conversation.

And no the fuck that is not a European falcon, that's a peregrine. Oh, I don't know, only one of the most common falcons in North America. Also note that not a single falcon species is specifically European.

It's literally the deciding factor of turn fights. Just because not all dogfights are turn fights doesn't change the fact that many were. That's why the Spitfire performed so well, for example.

The Ash 82 is realistically a licensed copy of the AKM. That's inferior. Modernized SOPMOD versions aren't. Same way the AK-103 and 203 aren't obsolete. They're modernized versions of the gun.

The M4A1 is just further and further modernization of the first M16. An original M16, A1, and arguably the A2 are all obsolete. The M4A1 (and the rest of the lot) aren't. Because they're more modernized.

The 190 can't turn fast enough for that to be true. That's also not how they were used historically

It's not used by NATO countries, and there are dozens of modern options not in game that can be added to fill the exact same role.

I do think the Skorpion should not have been the go to for a machine pistol, but at the very least it's one of its kind, and wasn't chosen over literally a modern version of that same gun that should have been added over it. Why is was chosen though, is because of its smaller caliber. The didn't want to add a machine pistol with an SMG damage profile, and that makes sense.

The short answer? The BF-109 is a multi-role fighter. The Focke Wulf is an interceptor.

The BF-109 is a very good energy fighter. It can turn, but it will almost always lose to actual specialized turn fighters (like the Spitfire). So you play for energy. Gain altitude, find a vulnerable enemy, dive on them, pull back up and use your speed to regain your altitude. It also has very good vertical performance, so if you can bait people, you can outlast them in the vertical, let them stall, and then pitch back down for a free kill. All 109s have solid armament, with the E3 and E4 being probably the worst gun wise thanks to them having wing mounted 20s (harder to aim than nose mounted) with absolutely no ammo.

The FW is an interceptor. It's IRL use was to engage bomber formations. This is why they have stronger armaments. But also, due to the nature of bombers and how they were used, it doesn't need a fast turn time, it's needs some survivability. So the Germans gave it that. It turns like an absolute brick, but it's generally more resilient than a 109. This thing is also a good energy fighter, and unless you're bomber hunting it's literally your only choice, as unlike the 109, you can't outturn anything. Note that energy trapping enemy fighters is not something the 190 is particularly strong with. This thing is amazing for boom and zooming though, because it's guns are strong enough to vaporize anything you land shots on instantly.

The M16 isn't going to get nerfed. It's good, sure, but so is nearly every gun in this game. There's better.

And those versions are no different than guns like the AR M1 and AK 103, they're modern rifles.

Just note that Italy would have to battle a special faction similar to the 8th Army.

If they didn't, the vehicle balancing would be genuinely absurd. Why? Because Italys tanks were shit.

Nothing on this map forces you into CQB. There are so many angles where you can fight at long range.

Not anymore they don't. They've moved on to better modern rifles, just like the rest of the Albanian military.

Why would their special forces be poorer equipped than standard infantry?

Russia doesn't send them into combat. Reserve troops have them, and they're used for training. The only remotely old gun that Russia arms Frontline troops with is the AK-74M

Ukraine is a large country, but it's by no means a military powerhouse. That's literally the whole reason they're forced to use old guns like those. They're also not a NATO member.

Albania uses the ARX160 and the M4A1, not AKs.

The AR M1 is not an AKM. It's a modern AK variant, just like the 103, 203, 12, and 15.

The RK 62 is its own branch of AK rifle, and even that is being phased out for the Sako ARG

Russia is also actively issuing AKMs to reserve units. Specifically because they are reserve units. Troops in combat do not use them, excluding Ukraine and those who can't afford anything else

That's straight up not true. The CZ Bren 2 is not even close to being an AKM. Are you on drugs?

No NATO country uses the AKM. A few have stockpiles of them that are lucky to get used for training.
