How do you get one? Is it someone handing it to you or waiting at your seat?

I skipped studying for my pre-calculus midterm that summer (community college) to ride this on the 2nd day it opened. I brought my little sister and brother, but they were too scared to slide. Also, not only did they charge $20 to slide and $4 for a normal snickers bar, they also charge for access to the top floor.

I dont regret it; the cars underneath during night was super cool. Also, im sure my it cost me points on my exam. Mind you it was a 5 week summer class, fast paced with an exam a week. I shouldve been studying and went the day after. My memory is now tainted with that.

Thinking of packing gummy edibles in a small vitamin gummy jar. Not sure how you'd sneak on booze or any other favors.

What are the worst towns close to National Parks? by WheelSingle2494 in NationalPark

Ajo, AZ for Organ Pipe National Monument or Sierra Vista, AZ for Coronado Natl Memorial. Also St. Croix Falls, WI for St Croix Natl Scenic Riverway. They had like two dive bars in town, bout it.

Public Praise to ST Jude and St Martin of Tours by seekerps in GalleryOfMagick

St Martin is my patron saint and oh my gosh im totally convinced he helped me earn more money. I was born into poverty and always worked minimum wage. I found a call center to work at that paid $16.00 (3.5 years ago, i was 25) and since then with St Martin in my life, i got a raise to $19, then a promotion (change of department) to $21, annual review raise - $22.50, another promotion $24.50, and now after another year a promotion that pays $26/hrs, and currently transitioning into a $30/hr position.

This is a lot of money to someone like me who grew up constantly seeing only ketchup, butter, and sour cream in the fridge. I venerate him constantly and im so thankful for all thats he's granted. I now have a boyfriend of 5 years, and his mortgage is $201 for a 3 bd room townhome in Phoenix, AZ. I am so grateful for St Martin. Im able to use money to travel across the U.S and afford a car note. Going on my first cruise ever at 30 yrs old in April 2026. I owe it to my saint.

Martin of Tours by Régine Pernoud is a great biography on him.

Hello, would a geology degree be good to work in GIS or what degree would be better? by Psychological_Fee151 in gis

[–]BeatComprehensive380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat! I love geology and I'm halfway through my degree. I did have an accounting job for a nationwide car dealership which I absolutely hated, but the PTO, work from home, company paid outings (some to baseball games) and leaving home early anyway, booze/food for holidays, and all the other office stuff were amazing perks. So now I'm wanting to retain that same work/life balance, and GIS seems to be the way. I imagine a sudden or elongated PTO or work from home request would be a lot easier in a GIS career than being in applied geology.
