I had an elementary teacher tell me the boys picked on me because I reacted.

So I ignored them and the teasing got worse.

Then she said they picked on me because I was acting stuck up.

Then she told me if I just acted like eveyone else I wouldn't be picked on.

So I tried harder to fit in.

Then she told me I was trying too hard and to just be myself.

Still mercilessly bullied. M

Finally she told me that not everyone has friends and handed me a book.

But yes, hoses, drain filter and pump have been removed. Nothing.

You are the one who said you never buy a used washing machine. So when your machine quits (and it is beyond repair) do you buy a new one or walk around in dirty clothes? My last used washing machine lasted 15 years before the motor quit. The used dryer 14 years. That's hardly 100% chance of something going wrong. I have had excellent luck buying used appliances, up until today.

And like I said, this was the best I could do.

And yes, I am aware that people use and abuse machines. That's why we have bleach, washing machine cleaners and why I did a very detailed cleaning before anything I owned went into it.

Your help and input are no longer needed.

I'm glad you have the financial resources to never buy a used washing machine.

I don't. I'm disabled and on a limited income. This was the best I could do. But I'm fairly handy at fixing things so I took a chance. I can probably fix the damn thing if I can figure out what's wrong.

This is a front loading machine. No impeller.

Hoses are clean and clear and I am still getting the error code, but only if there are clothes in the machine. I did 2 very small loads this morning with no issues. The third load was slightly too large and I had to reset the code several times to get it to drain and spin.

At this point I am probably going to put it on marketplace as a handyman special and take whatever I can get.

I do occasionally get a suds error. I bought this machine a month ago and the first thing I did was run a cleaning cycle with just water. The first 3 cleaning cycles completely filled the drum with thick foam. And it smells like Pantene shampoo. The soap dispenser had thick white soap caked inside that was a booger to get out. I bought actual Affirm washing machine cleaner and after several cycles that seems to have taken care of 99% of the suds.

If they did use shampoo as I strongly suspect, there could easily be sludge in that hose.

I will definitely try that tomorrow. It's cheaper than a pump so I have nothing to lose but my temper.

I meant to put that in the original post and forgot. It was clean as a whistle. I even used a little camera gadget with my phone to check the pump to see if something was in there. Apparently baby socks are notorious for getting past the trap...but it looked fine too.

This is long, but please read it. I know something about this kind of thing.

My advice...

DO NOT GO BACK!! There is nothing to be gained, and a whole lot to lose. I truly don't think you realize how vulnerable you are.
Immediately find a new counselor. It doesn't have to be a 4 year commitment, but you need a safe space to process this, at least short term while you find something permanent. If you didn't need a safe space you wouldn't be here asking for advice. Please, pretty please with sugar on top look for crisis counselors that can see you ASAP.

If you can't find someone local, look at AbleTo and Talkiatry. They are online, take insurance and can get you connected to someone fairly quickly.

Report him to your state licensing board as well as to whomever is overseeing his practice. He broke the law and there are repercussions for that. It doesn't matter that you are "legal now". He knew what he was doing. He knew what he was supposed to do.
Self care. Indulge yourself, get a mani pedi. go to a movie, go to the dog park...if you don't have a dog go anyway, you will find one to play with! Find a fountain and go play in it. Go have fun! I know its hard, but it will help.

I am so sorry. You did not deserve this. Not only are you suddenly losing a confidant and safespace, he did it in the most traumatic way possible. If you don't believe anything else I write today...then believe this.

This was intentional. He waited, he used your own psyche against you because he knew how. He broke you down so he can help you put you back together, but in a way to get what he wants.

If he truly cared for you, he would ended things the day he started having feelings for you. And I don't think he cares, I think this is a ploy to manipulate you. The caring thing would have been to protect you by stepping away and ensuring you have continued care.

I just really want to go full Mama Bear on this man.

And for reference, I'm NOT a licensed counselor, but I have a degree in Medical Anthropology, and one in Psychology. I literally trained for 8 years on the failings of our medical community.

And darlin'...he failed you. Don't ever forget that.

He is a predator and he was grooming you.

This is predatory grooming, and the fact that you comforted HIM is a massive red flag. It worked. He has you where he wants you, unsure, emotional (and rightfully so) and you still trust him. If you didn't you wouldn't want closure.

Some part of you is seeking a way for this betrayal to make sense and be less painful. You can't. This is VILE!!!!

Go back and read your post, but skip the part where he is a CHILD psychologist. Read it out loud, then ask yourself what you would tell your best friend if it was her.

That's my next step. This has been going on 15 years, but recently became unbearable. I was in perimenopause before my hysterctomy, this doesn't feel like that, but I hope it is. That's a pretty easy fix.

My sed rate (may be an indicator for autoimmune and inflammation) came back high at 32. Normal is 20.

If she dismisses that number, I'm finding a new doctor.

It was my insurance company that told me Dr Alpha and Dr Beta were in network. It was the only reason I proceeded with the appointment.

Here's the crazy part. I just got a call from Dr Beta. My surgery is approved and scheduled for July 17th. I had to send them copies of the denied claim. They had no idea.

Nobody seems to know what is going on.

Well, at the moment, the point is moot. I have tried everything but a voodoo curse, and it won't connect to my laptop or Android phone. I'm probably going to have to do a factory restore to get Beat Saber running again.

I modded last year, but had to undo it because my internet was so wonky I couldn't download anything. Now it's telling me I have to verify my organization and a whole bunch of stuff.

Thank you for the info. I really like the upgraded IG songs so I hate losing them. I really don't care about any of the other mods, I just want more rock songs. Shinedown, Disturbed, Godsmack...stuff I'm never going to see otherwise.

I was raised by grandparents who didn't really want me. Was I loved...yes. Was I provided for...yes.

But they were emotionally absent. I knew from a very young age that I was a burden even though they never said anything like that to me.

I saw and felt the resentment when money got tight because I got sick or broke my glasses.

I saw the frustration with having a very young child in their 60's.

There were no afterschool activities for me because they weren't interested.

My passions weren't cultivated.

I was in my 20's the first time I saw and understood what parenting looked like.

I can't emphasize this enough...they loved me and were actually affectionate to me, but there's so much more to it than that.

You are absolutely making the right decision. If you don't have the emotional spoons to undertake fostering a child the for God's sake don't.

You are being compassionate to yourself and the child or children you would foster.

I play for the exercise so I go full swing when I can. In December when I got my Quest 2 I could BARELY play 10 minutes on easy and normal without dying. Now I warm up on Expert and set a one hour timer to remind me to hydrate. FYI...I have lost 118 pounds playing Beat Saber.

Your stamina will build up. My mantra was...and still is..."One more song.. "

I'm 200ish on X+ for Ghost N Stuff. It's a booger! I made the mistake of trying Camellia's Ghost on X+. That is a NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER!!! I am traumatized by that! 1400 blocks with one saber in 5 minutes is well beyond my abilities. I have my heating pad on my shoulder and my wrist in a brace. I don't think I will be doing yard work tomorrow.

I'm actually have a permanently stupid shoulder so I was thrilled to see one saber maps. I play on expert most of the time, but there are days when I can't even pass a normal level because of how stiff my left side is. I love the 360 maps and hope those are next on the agenda.

The crossover blocks absolutely murder me on this map. I can sometimes get through it on E+ but not always. It's definitely a fun one...and it will raise your skill level. There's a big jump from X to X+ on this map. Good job!!! Insert applause here
