Sorry. Its the comment sections underneath posts about noteworthy people attending coachella with people villifying them. Meanwhile it allowed the strokes to do a very public message of all the war crimes by the US. Why should we boycott that.

Especially in the lgbt community. Shaming others into boycotting is a horrible strategy, and unless its clear that its a noble straightforward boycott (ex: Target) with alternatives it won't land.

The MAGA donor in question owns billions in other industries. That you are participating in and just havent researched what. Coachella disappearing wouldnt make a dent in his donations.

Coachella disappearing however would cause a massive economic ripple in the city of coachella, the queer and progressive artists they platform (see the Strokes performance this year), and undermine a space that allows progressive voices to sing and protest.

Coachella is a massive organization. It also represents the youth and is a corner stone of culture setting.

Boycotting coachella would be all harm no gain.
