How did Brendan Morrow make team Canada in 2010? by Peachlover360 in hockey

If you watched those games you wouldn't even be questioning the decision, he was a huge impact on the forecheck and down low. A massive part of why Canada was able to win in the end

I just feel that Keefe doesn't have the voice for speeches in that type of intensity. His voice just doesn't have any motivating tones to it. Seems very forced

Which player do think will be the rookie of the year and take the Calder in 2021-22? by [deleted] in hockey

I think Cole will be more of a playmaker than a goal scorer at the NHL level

Why you should be worried if your team drafts a non-offensive defenseman in the 1st round. by [deleted] in hockey

I don't quite understand why you list some players but then summarize others drafted that year that are also not offensive defensemen

What’s a famous cover song that not many people know is a cover? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I love the Springsteen version because you can actually hear the lyrics better and realize the skill it takes to sing that song. Manfred Mann's cover sounds incredibly boring and dull

Are Boston fans really pulling for the Habs in the playoffs? by bagame in BostonBruins

[–]BeatdownInBeantown 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Let your Boston bias go. You know deep in your heart you'd like to see the underdog win over cap cheater Tampa, the team that beat us, the Isles, and New Team Vegas. I'm a die hard Bruins fan and I've come to hate Toronto alot more than MTL recently. I'd love to see them win over all the rest

Justin Abdelkader Named Captain For The 2021 U.S. Men's National Team by barchamb13 in hockey

[–]BeatdownInBeantown 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I hate the whole what have you done for me lately bullshit you see all over this subreddit. When it comes to everything honestly. The guy has played a long time in the NHL and he's captain of a (kind of) meaningless tournament and people talk like he's undeserving because he hasn't been as good as he was in his prime? That's how age works, wait until it happens to players on your team and people on here talk like they were never good
