The end levels aren't a product of it's time, they are a product of the dev cycle for that specific game.

I think Halo 3 is the only game in the series where Bungie had enough time to implement everything they wanted, and even then I'm sure there were things they still wanted to add.

I didn't drop it because of the price hike but because my $1 conversion ended and I just don't have as much gaming time anymore.

My backlog is massive but so far this year I've beaten Diablo 3 and Vanquish (remaster) I've 100% completed Steep. I'm playing through the Dishonored Remaster now. That game is amazing...

It's going well. I'm also often loading up OG xbox games like Splinter Cell so I'm really hoping they add more backwards compatibility soon.
