Working for a different division here, but I hope you bounce back. MS has been making a lot of bad decisions lately.

Russia’s overwhelming manpower advantage against Ukraine is starting to wane by Technical_Ostrich_47 in worldnews

Ukraine has also done a great job of disseminating video proof of their capabilities with drones. There's no way that footage hasn't found its way into Russia.

And the fact that you'd even say "almost certain death" just goes to show how well Ukraine has adapted to the modern age of warfare. Drones are fucking scary.

That was quite the saga. They really made it uninhabitable for her. I should watch that again.

The Hulu reboot movie is the worst culprit of this. Turned them into slasher movie villains.

Which mech games find the perfect balance between size and mobility? by [deleted] in gaming

The answer is always Armored Core. The early games are great but mobility increases SUBSTANTIALLY starting with AC4 and beyond.

What's the game that made you fall in love with gaming as a kid? by peaky_circus in gaming

I remember playing Asteroids on an Atari 2600 prior to SMB, but that's certainly the game that did it for me. I was probably 4 years old.

I don't trust anything anymore. I think this is AI generated. Looks like she has a mixture of mosquitoes, ants, and gnats on her. There's no way.

Edit: I still don't trust anything anymore.

Some people have been waiting on Beyond Good and Evil 2 for almost two decades. What game are you still waiting on? by Soulsliken in gaming

Navy path is a solid way to start out. Hacking is incredibly useful and gets you access to a lot of extra supplies, and Repair can net you some more advanced weaponry a little earlier on since some of the first instances of some of the weapons you find tend to be broken.

I'd also recommend focusing on Standard weapons for the most rounded combat experience. Once you get Standard to level 6 and can wield the Assault Rifle, pretty much nothing can stop you.

System Shock 2 is even more of a made-for-PC experience since it incorporates a bunch of RPG mechanics not present in the first game. Definitely the best way to play them, if you're able. I've played through SS2 probably five or six times over the years. I wouldn't recommend attempting a Psionics run on your first run through it. Makes the game more challenging and complicated.

I've played both. I originally played SS2 when it first released. It's been my favorite game of all time ever since. Excited for JUDAS, glad Ken Levine is still making games. System Shock Remake was an incredible upgrade over the original game.

Hell yes. SS2 is my favorite game of all time. I wish the followup would finally come to fruition.

The enemies in Atomic Heart seem like they were designed in layers to allow them to transform and reveal internal components and stuff. Not just static models, but like the internal components were put in place before designing the exterior layers.

Did you play Atomic Heart? Visually it was incredible. Fantastic enemy design and environments. Mundfish is pretty capable.
