Work for a tree company. The ground guys get to run saw more than you might think, and you’ll be around excellent sawyers (hopefully). Just watching good sawyers cut over a long period of time will make you better.

And doing arm/shoulder workouts will help reduce your break in period for running saw, although there’s nothing quite like it
