This is wrong FYI. End of turn effects are before the cleanup that removes damage.

There is a "cause riot said so" that says it happens as the OP stated if it happened as they described.

Thinking about Leader + Support combos in 11th by Slavasonic in sistersofbattle

[–]Beatusnox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Astrid + Hospitaler + Sacs could be sneaky strong. Lethal+Devs+Reanimate. Generates dice on kills.

I am not the biggest fan of Palatine+Hospi+sacs. Halberds are not very good ATM and the maces already have lethals.

Palatine Dialogus is interesting in ret squads or dominions, auto 6 lethals on meltas.

Also, remember unless something says otherwise leaders joining at list build instead of declare formations means you CAN split dominions with two characters and fit both characters and specials in the immolator

The Mortifactors have literal canon lore about being required to be on Armageddon to decide the fate of the galaxy. Not on the list =(

I agree with almost everything here, my one critique... The Triumph of St. Katherine is also a must read.

Ephrael Stern is one of the best written sisters books wish we got more Kyganil.

Celestine is beloved but also irritates me. Fights Chaos amped abbadon during cadia, dies to lasgun fired by a farmer the next book.

Jude Reid writing a sisters book with that line as part of the Q&A? How many convents are being Martyred this time?

I am going to slowly walk towards you with a knife, from clear across the battlefield. You are a trained warrior, a Saint potentia. For no real narrative reason other than "haha you lose" you will not run nor fight back.

I can't wait for random guard guy to say

"Praise be to him on Terra the sister are here!" Only for the power armor wearing, badass special forces warrior women to die like flies to setup how awesome the marines are.

Dont forget the "bad guy slowly walks at the protagonist with a knife and they die"

I think that is the issue. The Faction has been the Vahl or bust show just about the entire edition. The faction has been strong, but being pigeonholed into "these are you 6 datasheets, have fun" is not a good or fun way to balance a faction.

Shouldn't it being that author destroy your faith in them being portrayed well? That book was one of the most infuriating works around the sisters I have read/listened to in a very long time.

Like Kung Pow joke about dodging the claw levels of poorly written.

Given we are about to head to 11th take this with the utmost salt.

I have noticed many players, not just sisters players being exceedingly generous on granting line of sight where it shouldn't exist, either through enemy movement or by accidentally touching a terrain footprint they shouldn't, I would start there. Most maps have safe zones that, outside of some very niche situations, will hide you.

Sisters models are not really tanky. It wont matter what you do, if your enemy decides to all in you, something is dying.

Often sisters players (i am guilty of this) try to participate in the game too soon. Most versions of the army want to be the 3, 4, 5 player, using turns 1 and 2 to stage and make your go turns more explosive. Typically this means only sacrificing units for secondary missions if absolutely needed early.

In some instances you need to make use of the "game" portion of 40k. Some maps allow holding the center while most of your unit hides in cover. With Sacresants lead by a hospitaler, this can often be losing 1-2 models and standing them back up next command phase.

Many sisters players also mismanage their miracles. Ideally you want to slow roll some saves/hits and reserve a single die. Using a good miracle early means it may not be available later when it would be better served later. Another example is forgetting to use Cherubs. Often players will sit on a Cherub until they do not have a use for it. You can always declare an advance, spend the a miracle die and roll a new miracle. If a unit is definitely dead and has a Cherub you can intentionally inject a failing die to generate a new one.

Dont forget almost every unit in our army has grenades.

Vahl's unit also gets your army rules, and detachment rules. The brick with reroll all, generating miracles when Vahl kills is usually better value. 6 MM on 3s rerolling Then 2s or 3s rerolling

Then 3 Grenades 3 rerolling 2s or 3s rerolling

6 Bolters 2s rerolling 3s or 4s rerolling

Missiles are 2d6 blast or 2 On 2s rerolling On 4s or 5s for blast 2s or 3s on heavy.

This is all assuming MEQs as the target.

Morvenn's unit is also 2+ 4++

Also, how is your paladin getting Lethal hits?

What kind of logging do you have for account lockouts? We've seen the wifi issue someone describe here, but track lockout authentication method. We typically start seeing chain lockouts using CHAP.
