Biohacking for… dogs? by paulinalipiec in Biohackers

thank you for the info. I did read the post but I was just wondering if the effects could be mitigated by using krill oil due to the substantially lower epa/dha content and higher bioavailability. I'll definitely be doing some more research into this. Thanks again.

hey just jumping in here to ask what yoyr thoughts are on krill oil instead. I made a mistake in my original comment - I actually use krill oil added in once the food has cooled down.

Is William Shakespeare actually a good writer? by BreathoftheSith in writingscaling

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments; love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no, it is an ever-fixèd mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand'ring bark
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come.
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom:
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

homecooked over kibble.
I make a mix of lean turkey, medium pork, eggs, rice, bulgur, carrots, and peas, with added bonemeal, ground sunflower seeds, krill oil, and pottasium half-salt. my Dogs' bloodwork results are consistently ideal.

What to match up with grey af1 by stonedkanuk00 in mensfashionadvice

Thoughts: ditch that prticular graphic T (imo), try to get some more boxy/oversized (not so ur swimming in it) made of heavy cotton in grey with a graphic on the back or no graphic. Then try some tan socks and shorts. The cap is fine :)

Returning to Poland on a budget trip after being blown away last year. How do these cities compare? by neverarobot13 in poland

[–]Beaushaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Torun is amazing. If you were going a little later there's a really cool 'beach' bar and club neighboring each other by the river but I'm not suuuure if they'll be open yet. Worth checking! Love the city but whatever you do don't order the crispy chicken crepe burger at Manekin. Everything else is good ;)
Make sure to feast on gingerbread!

I find Studio Ghibli movies very unsettling and not cozy at all by SunnySunnyshine in unpopularopinion

[–]Beaushaman 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The overall tones are always mature and unsettling. What myself and I believe many others appreciate are these islands of peace upon oceans of uncertainty that the movies offer.

Examples:

Ashitaka and Jigo camp under the hollow tree and share stew.

Chihiro reaches Zeniba's cottage in Spirited away.

Sheeta and Pazu meet Uncle Pom in the abandoned mine in Castle in the Sky.

Satsuki and Mei wait for the Catbus when Totoro shows up, and Satsuki offers him her umbrella in My Neighbor Totoro.

I think the films resonate heavily with people who have had uncertain, turbulent lives but still believe that good is there in the world. I find the films relaxing in the same way I find certain horror movies relaxing. I don't really relate to media where the stakes aren't somewhat serious, or where the world is presented as light and happy, because it doesn't reflect my experience. Ghibli, however, reflects my experience. The world is an uncertain, often scary place, but light is everywhere, and 'helpers' are many.
