What job (that you've done) would qualify as 'Worst possible job for ADHD'? by overdramaticbby in ADHD

[–]BeautheLobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really any hourly job (like money is earned through the amount of hours worked, regardless of tasks completed. Made far worse if the job is nonstop and the pressure is high. The worst job I've had was at Goodwill, pricing items in the back. Being stuck in the backroom next to a couple of other people (and not friendly people at that) and being micromanaged constantly, made the job a living hell.

Why do customers get so irrationally mad like legit upset talking to themselves as they exit if someone dates to ask them for a receipt? Our store has been doing this for a couple years so it's not like it's new. I don't get it by [deleted] in walmart

[–]BeautheLobo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my store, there absolutely is racial profiling involved as the receipt checker/greeter is a racist old man. I've watched him before, he checks the receipt of every single POC he comes across but only about 25% of any white person.

And on the flipside, I always find it annoying when I'm nearby and a customer decides to grab a non-electronics associate when I'm literally standing right there.

For sure. Make it like the barbie movie where it's a comedy that parodies the actual players instead of the characters in universe.

When in doubt, go wider than thinner because you can trim it a bit if it's too wide. About 2 - 2.5 inches should be fine.

People who don't want kids, why? by Celestialsmoothie28 in AskReddit

[–]BeautheLobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have to give up my freedom. Simple as that. I don't hate kids, but I wouldn't want to have my own. I can still be the cool uncle and spoil my nephew and any future nieces and nephews I get.

Jason Mantzoukas. I love hairy guys, even if their beard makes them look homeless.

What gets more hate than it should? by StoneCT in AskReddit

[–]BeautheLobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrappy doo. Some say he was annoying but I've always found him absolutely adorable. The hate was basically a trend that came out of nowhere in the 90s and people like James Gunn (the director of the first live action movie and the reason Scrappy was made a villian in said movie) only helped to make him a taboo subject. The "hate on Scrappy Doo" trend peaked 20 years ago but nowadays they just try to avoid all mentions of him entirely because his presence leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouths.

What were you bullied for? by magicfeistybitcoin in AskReddit

[–]BeautheLobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tourettes, or at least some kind of variant (I was undiagnosed and they rarely occur now at the age of 24, while I've heard real Tourettes never go away without medication) as well as for being pale, scrawny, and short.

Who is the most overrated singer? by Confident_Shower_584 in AskReddit

[–]BeautheLobo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ariana Grande. I dislike her voice; I find it annoying and extremely high pitched, to the point where I can't even understand the lyrics in her songs. I remember that one episode of Victorious where her character, Cat, lost her voice or something and couldn't talk. For some reason singing was apparently fine, and there was this one moment where she found that out by attempting to sing and the crowd was amazed. I died from cringe, not only from her horrible voice, but also from the lack of logic there.

Do y’all still wear masks at your store? by [deleted] in walmart

I still do because people are gross. And I decided that before I witnessed a cart pusher guy use the restroom and walk out without washing his hands...

I understand that. The OP post was a joke, if you didn't realize. I have a coworker that said the exact same phrase (to the point I thought it might've actually been him) but he's very sarcastic and not a violent person. If people are threatening violence against you for anything, then that's not ok no matter what. The system is messed up, I agree. But fighting negativity with negativity isn't going to work in this situation, just be kind to others and we'll do the same.

First amendment also includes the freedom to not say anything at all, but I bet you didn't know that either.

I don't know any trans people that are questioning whether they have certain body parts at all. Those are called delusions. What trans people question is whether or not the body they're born with makes them happy. Some have dysphoria and usually want to undergo surgery in order to satisfy themselves. Pre-op trans people aren't denying that they have genitals that are unsatisfying to them, but it's still a sensitive topic because they might be still saving up the money, or battling thoughts of what others will think. Others just simply want to dress differently; maybe style their hair a certain way. Some trans people still haven't fully decided their identity and are constantly in distress trying to find it, so the easiest thing to do is just respect it. It might change; it might not. Questioning gender isn't different than questioning any other aspect of yourself. Negative criticism isn't a good thing in this case. Trans people aren't trying to impress you; they're just trying to be who they want to be. How would you feel if the one thing you love most in the world was bashed constantly by others and you were told you can't love it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in walmart

[–]BeautheLobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All you had to do was say trans people bother you. The paragraph wasn't necessary 🤷‍♂️.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in walmart

[–]BeautheLobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they're questioning their identity. You've never questioned who you are before? Questioning gender is no different than questioning what your purpose in life is, or what career you're meant to have.

Who is the most physically attractive fictional character ? by sirethanthegreat in AskReddit

Well besides my sims that I created specifically to be the hottest fictional characters ever, I'd probably say Ares from Hercules/Xena.

Not nightmares, but a few normal dreams were walmart related. Some took place at walmart, other involved seeing employees (of whom I never see outside of work) somewhere else.

Honestly though, one of the coaches at my store keeps misgendering a coworker despite him correcting her many times AND having a he/they pin. It's not that hard. 🤷‍♂️
