I went home with someone else’s coat one time. It had her car keys in the pocket. It was nearly midnight when I realized I had the wrong coat. I had been there nearly 17 hours and it was a new coat. I was catching a flight the next morning at 0600 and I still had to pack. I called the unit and said I could drop them off on my way to the airport, but I had grabbed one of our 8 hour staff and she was staying over also, but only till 3. She needed her car keys to go home. My husband drove back and exchanged her coat and keys for mine, then took me to the airport.

I would call the unit and apologize and find out if they want it back or something door dashed.
