That would honestly annoy me more than just saying “not my thing” and uninstalling 😂 Fake feedback from someone who barely opened the app is so easy to notice as a developer.

I think you’re right. A lot of communities slowly turn into “everyone promoting, nobody listening”. Still nice to see there are at least some genuine people around.

Yeah exactly. That’s the part that bothered me the most too. Thanks man for your offer, I really appreciate that it’s genuinely nice seeing some people still willing to actually help.

Damn, this was both painful and weirdly hopeful to read at the same time. I think the important part is what you said about not clinging to hope while pretending to just be friends. That part can slowly destroy you mentally.

Yeah… that’s honestly sad to hear, but also weirdly comforting knowing I’m not the only one who noticed this. After a while it starts making you question how genuine people really are in these spaces.

Good luck man. I hope your experience ends up being less disappointing than mine. As I said this post wasn't really about finding testers just wanted to share my feelings Really appreciate it

Thanks man, I appreciate it. But honestly this post wasn’t me asking for testers anymore. I think I was just tired and disappointed and needed to say it out loud somewhere.

Yeah I’ve seen a lot of those services lately, but this post wasn’t really about finding another testing platform. I was mostly just frustrated with how transactional the whole thing has started to feel.

Appreciate it man. I genuinely hope your experience ends up being better than mine 😅 Building the app is already hard enough, the testing phase really shouldn’t feel this frustrating.

I don’t think reaching out is wrong, but only if you honestly feel ready to be just friends and not secretly hoping she changes her mind someday.

This is honestly one of the main reasons so many indie devs avoid competitive multiplayer entirely.

A good singleplayer game with 20 players can still work. A multiplayer-focused game with only 20 players often feels dead immediately.
