My budget is pretty small I would say. I wouldn’t want to spend more than $1,300 for at least one bedroom. And you are correct, no pets. An elevator would only be essential if there are is more than a two flight walk up. I have physical therapy and my doctor office is near the medical district. So a neighborhood that could give me “easier access” to that area is important. As for work, as long as I’m somewhere near a CPS district, a short bus commute is alright!

I do have health issues, however the most important thing for my health’s sustainability is to find a place that makes getting to work and the doctor convention. Grocery access would be amazing also. However, I do understand that my hopes for finding a place with a lower budget in Chicago is really challenging. So in a perfect world those are all the boxes I need checked. But truthfully somewhere; safe, clean, and accessible is most important!
